Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Plant Manager.
- Directs all production activities through the Production Supervisors, as a member of the Plant Manager’s staff, coordinates interdepartmental activities with other department heads.
- Manage under plant expense budget and the method of operation to remain within the budget and assures cost control and cost improvement projects.
- Supervises Production Supervisors.
- Approves departmental operating procedures.
- Ensures the implementation of the Company’s Quality Management System.
- Monitors and controls overtime level.
- Monitors and controls labor and material variances.
- Monitors and controls regrind levels.
- Maintains employee welfare, follows through with subordinate training and discipline.
- Maintains job descriptions and procedures in order to insure proper labor utilization.
- Provides leadership in maintaining safety, quality and efficiency throughout the department.
- Standard supervisory and administrative responsibilities of the department Manager.
- Administers and enforces the Company’s safety program.
- Determine proper utilization of workforce based on production demands.
- Recommendation for more efficient methods of operation.
- Conducts daily production meetings and communicates with all departments to direct support group activities.
- Consults with the Engineering department on mold revisions, improvement projects, new products and CAPEX projects.
- Prepares Production department’s budgets.
- Monitors production and labor efficiencies to ensure that Company standards are met and maintains proper production practices.
- Adherence to quality standards established by the Company to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Optimizes budget expenses to minimize the cost of operation consistent with productivity.
- Maintains an efficient workforce through communication and training of personnel.
- Trains and develops production personnel.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to work nine (9) hours per day, five (5) days per week. Overtime may be necessary.
- Noise level is 90dB.
- Polyethylene, polystyrene, PET, polypropylene and purging compound materials are both processed and ground, which provides some fumes and dust.
- Indoor and outdoor work is required.
- Must be able to wear protective clothing such as a hairnet, rubber-soled shoes, earplugs and a beard guard (if applicable).
No jewelry except for a wedding band without stones.
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs. occasionally during the day.
- Occasional standing to demonstrate, instruct and conduct meetings. Must be accessible to all areas of the production floor and facility.
- Must be able to detect and sense bottle defects such as texture, bottle temperature, and color. Able to distinguish shades in color, however, some degree of color blindness may be accommodated.

Production Supervisor

Location : Atlanta region
As a Production Supervisor you will work in an empowered environment to oversee the entire home-building process for millions of dollars of new home inventory.
As they train you in the new construction process, you'll serve as an on-site management trainee and will work alongside a Project Manager to learn how to effectively manage a job site.
You'll be responsible for construction consulting, quality control, customer relations, and budget management and will experience the personal satisfaction of contributing to the construction of a community of new homes.
This is an entry-level training role, designed to onboard, train, and groom Supervisors to become Project Managers. Supervisors work hand-in-hand, and day-to-day, with the Project Managers, assisting them, as well as learning from them.
Additionally, there is formal training provided at multiple levels to aid them in this growth.
Upon promotion to Project Manager, your base salary typically increases, and a bonus becomes an option. The Project Managers Oversees construction of residential homes from cradle to grave.
Primary duties will include planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the construction of these homes. The company is looking for strong leaders and wants them to complete the Production Supervisor training in a timely manner.

Summary
The Production Control will provide work with the Operations Manager and Productions Managers to ensure efficient and accurate label production.
In addition, the Production Control will print labels as well as assist in addressing issues within the office including operational, scheduling, and mechanical.

- Review the daily schedule at the start of each shift to determine the day's production run requirements, utilizing this information to set up the correct line, with the appropriate material, supplies, and machinery to reduce downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Ability to maintain a continuous streamlined process of loading / unloading, and stacking / unstacking of pans from theproduction line, the proof boxes, and ovens always ensuring proper placement of products.
- Ensure product quality by visually inspecting for foreign material or product defects by doing weight checks, taking temperatures of products, and recording details on daily log sheets in accordance with product specifications and customer requirements.
- Observe, maintain, and address all issues with leaders and members of management on product quality, machinery, and supplies to prevent and reduce waste.
- Follow and comply with all safety protocols including those set forth by GMPs, SQF, OSHA, and all other industry standards as outlined by management and the government.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace throughout the day by being clean, having a tidy work area, and being mindful and observant of surroundings.

- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards co-workers, management, customers, and clients.

Ideation, formerly known as H&F Bread CO, was started in 2008 by James Beard Award-winning Chef Linton Hopkins and his long-time friend and entrepreneur Joe Best.
Starting with a single baker and three assistants operating in a 1,800-square foot facility to fill a niche, supplying great bread to restaurants who wanted To enhance the dining experience with artisan baked goods of the highest quality and consistency with a focus on food safety and compliance .
That later became our Mission Statement.

In 2018 we acquired the former La Petite in Marietta and opened up our first co-manufacturing facility focusing on Gluten-Free and Allergen-free baked goods for clients who wanted to expand their current products into the marketplace.
When the pandemic hit in 2020 the fresh-baked business that had been in existence for years took a significant loss in just 1 week.
In true H&F style, we did not let that hold us back from growing and were able to capitalize on what we were doing well at and expanded the co-manufacturing business to encompass both locations providing our clients with almost 90,000 sq ft of manufacturing space.
It also allowed us to rebrand ourselves into Ideation.
