Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to provide patient centered physical therapy for patients in our long-term care facility in Missouri.

A DAY IN THE LIFE A PHYSICAL THERAPIST

As a Physical Therapist at a long-term care facility, you arrive each day happy to work for a practice that gives you the time and support to get real results for your patients.

You use your knowledge of developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents to plan and deliver the best individualized care for each of your patients whether challenged with orthopedic issues, neurological diseases, or complex medical conditions.

And, your collaborative skills come into play as you play an active role on each patient's interdisciplinary team. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PHYSICAL THERAPIST

• Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current physical therapy license
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation facilities

SUMMARY : Under the direction of the Department Director and the Senior Physical Therapists, provides quality physical therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.

Physical Therapist to work 4-10 hour days, between Monday through Friday (off day to be determined). Experience preferred in vestibular rehab and dry needling.

Will also be involved with treatment of general musculoskeletal, neurological, and general debility outpatient conditions at our Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine satellite clinic located at 9501 North Oak Traffic-way.

As part of our outpatient team, will be cross trained to cover 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend per year in our acute care setting at North Kansas City Hospital.

May work additional holidays or weekends if desired.
