Role Summary :

The Inside Sales Consultant (ISR) is responsible for engaging access decision maker within a Group Purchasing Organization (Targets) in telephone conversations to promote assigned client product(s), maximize the product(s)’ selling potential and meet program and Client objectives.

The ISR achieves this by developing and maintaining relationships with Targets and by educating them about product features, benefits, safety profile and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use.

Essential Duties :

  • Manage daily call responsibilities according to defined expectations, with the purpose of achieving KPIs
  • On behalf of Client, promote Client's product(s) via outbound telephone calls by engaging assigned Targets in in-depth program discussions to attain individual, territory and company goals for sales, market share, etc.
  • Profile and manage targeted list of Targets and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume.
  • Maintain call productivity and metrics that are required by program.
  • Prospecting : Successfully qualifying or disqualifying Targets from a Target list
  • Conduct outbound calls to Targets to appropriately qualify or disqualify Targets based on prospecting questions
  • Verify and complete required data entry in CRM system, such as details of the target’s responses and any follow-through actions
  • Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using effective selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology, and approved messaging.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Client product(s) and program.
  • Verify and complete required data entry in CRM systems, such as details of the target’s responses and any follow-through actions.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
  • Create and maintain a positive impression with client and client’s customers.

  • Participate in teleconference and live (when required) National, regional and district meetings and training sessions and represent client at National and / or local conventions when applicable.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university or college required
  • A minimum of 1+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience required 3+ years or more preferred
  • 1+ years of Buy and bill experience in pharma or med device preferred
  • Account contracting experience (preferred)
  • Oncology or rare disease experience (preferred)
  • Proof of Covid Vaccine required at the time of hire
  • Experienced utilizing digital meeting platforms including Zoom, Teams, and others

Join Takeda as a Director, of Global Regulatory Affairs CMC where you will oversee the development and execution of regulatory CMC development and registration strategies.

You may manage staff members. As part of the Global Regulatory Affairs CMC team, you will work with Regulatory, Pharmaceutical Development, and Production project teams throughout clinical development and commercial lifecycle for assigned products and staff.

How you will contribute :

Demonstrate Takeda leadership behaviors.

Independently manage regulatory submissions for assigned compounds in several phases of clinical development, global marketing applications, and post-approval life cycle activities.

Participate in global teams that require experienced interpretation of applicable EMA / FDA / ICH / WHO / Global regulations to ensure CMC compliance.

Evaluate change proposals for regulatory impact and filing requirements.

Lead team members that establish CMC content (data and documentation) requirements for regulatory submissions and will review this content for conformance with established requirements.

Experience liaising with Regulatory Agencies having served as lead in Agency Interactions and product development meetings, international experience preferred.

Understanding of scientific principles and regulatory CMC requirements relevant to global drug development and post-market support.

Experience providing strategic regulatory guidance to drug development, registration, and post-market support teams.

Ability to deal with issues of critical importance provides regulatory advice and makes reasoned decisions on regulatory issues for which there may not be clear / specific regulatory guidance.

Travel Requirements :

Willingness to travel to various meetings, including overnight trips.

Base Salary Range : $156,800 to $224,000 based on the candidate's professional experience level. Employees may also be eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term Incentive benefits as well.

  • 4-6 years of work experience with a focus in healthcare data analytics.
  • Experience and subject matter expertise in pharmaceutical pricing and forecast analysis and pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
  • Ability to work with pharmaceutical data sets, including IQVIA data, claims data, distributor sales data and gross-to-net calculations.
  • Experience with EU data a plus
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to independently execute complex data analytics in at least one programming language (e.
