must be able to lift, load, push and pull cartons weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, reach and squat while performing merchandising activities You must have your own vehicle Valid drivers’ license and current auto insurance required The successful candidate for this type of position will be self-directed and enjoy working independently.

  • Merchandise and maintain all product displays within the greeting card department as well as other areas of the store as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced retail environment utilizing your effective time management skills.
  • Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.

Job Description

What to expect when you work here

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing the store's backroom operations by receiving products into the POS system, keeping products organized and accounted for, and helping process weekly pallets.

You would also be in charge of processing damaged or defective products back to the Fulfillment Center, and reporting these items to the Inventory Control Team.

Additionally, you would work closely with the management team to ensure that an adequate level of product is in stock for customer purchase, that the merchandise is properly maintained, and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement.
