In collaboration with the Hive, Organic Search Lead, and the Digital Lead, the Digital Merchandiser is responsible for helping with the development and the tactical execution of the perfect page and taking action to win the search algorithm.
These execution plans and strategies must be aligned with business stakeholders and key bricks and clicks retailers, such as Walmart, Target, Kroger, Meijer, as well as pure play retailers like Amazon.
This role is highly collaborative and requires a strong customer focus, a drive for results, and a high degree of autonomy in a constantly changing digital commerce environment.
This role interacts with several key stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Category, Shopper Insights, Shopper Marketing, and the Digital Team.

Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree
Reporting and analytics experience
Good communication skills to educate & report across metrics
Advanced with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with SEO
Balanced analytical / conceptual skills to understand and then optimize page performance.
Proven project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.
Experience with building collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Requirements :
Experience in managing brand portfolios of products online
Have strong understanding of eCommerce landscape
Ability to benchmark market best practices in search, placement, content & ratings / review.
Understanding or familiarity with Salsify, CXH preferred
Understand core business metrics and how these can be influenced through online merchandising
Customer experience is preferred but not required
What would be your key responsibilities?
Drive Perfect Digital Store (PDS) improvements across retailers’ pages, focused on perfect page (content & ratings and reviews) and perfect position (winning the search algorithm) using tools such as eFundamentals, Nielsen, OneSpace and Power BI.
Develop strategies to win the customer algorithm and create SEO optimized content by coordinating with brands (everyday & seasonal), customer teams and agencies
Responsible for item setup & content management (Salsify, CXH, Label Insights, etc) & content syndication (basic content, above the fold, below the fold, video, etc) across customers.
Partner with Digital Hive & team lead to develop & upload content for new products, seasonal rotations, micro-moments, transitioning items, and discontinued products and ensure products are live and updated on retailers’ websites at the respective launch / discontinuation dates.
Define and implement test & learns across sub-set of online retailers to inform strategies and actions
Bring forward insights for MWC by analyzing competitors’ content, search & merchandising strategy around key criteria : content quality, integrity, ratings, and reviews & search.
Lead special projects like Mobile Images, Content Playbooks, driving digital muscle with brand teams, etc.

Overview
The Retail Merchandiser provides retail sales merchandising coverage and coverage of retail special projects for an assigned retail territory.
They are responsible for representing ACOSTA and our principals through store coverage and executing objectives as set forth by their Manager to achieve superior in-store results in an assigned territory.
Point of sale interaction is required and the ability to significantly and positively impact sales volume of the assigned product as a result.

Essential Functions :
- Deliver retail merchandising and sales goals across all channels in assigned territory
- Meets client expectations regarding retail sales coverage and productivity in assigned territory.
- Assists in retail and sales initiatives (new product introductions, contests, 30-day speed-to-shelf, etc.) as assigned.
- As established by management, enters and transmits data in a timely manner.
- Execute retail territory coverage plan to ensure merchandising coverage goals are met.
- Work closely with management and develop professional relationship to ensure smooth and cooperative involvement in the marketing, promotion and sale of product.
- Executes merchandising events in assigned territory
- Perform special projects as assigned by Manager.
- Maintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts per plan-o-gram.
- Rotate stock, clean and stock display and price merchandise as appropriate.
- Report observations to Manager regarding outdated product, unbalanced stock, out-of-stock situations and point of purchase requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education Requirements :
High School Diploma / GED
Work Experience Requirements :
One-year experience in dealing with the public at the retail sales level preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements :
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and must be able to drive a car for extended periods of time.
- Must be available for occasional weekend work (Demos and Food Shows). Must be able to work nights and holidays. (Night and holiday work will be pre-defined by position).
- Must be willing and able to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores).
- Must be able to effectively communicate with others. Must have good vision and be able to operate a calculator, telephone, copier, hand truck, hammer, and screwdriver and case cutter.
- Must be able to stand and / or walk for long periods of time. Must be able to comfortably interact with the public.
- Must have professional appearance & demeanor.
- Must be familiar with Excel and Word.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build and maintain Anheuser-Busch product displays
- Organize, rotate, and stock shelves at each assigned account
- Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment (for example, pallet jack, hand truck)
- Install permanent new point of sale (POS) items in retail accounts
- Responsible for assisting in the daily upkeep of the POS Warehouse
- Manage account stockroom by organizing and consolidating backstock (product)
- Identify, monitor, and report backstock inventory levels
- Properly secure damaged or defective product
- Follow proper procedure for managing out of stocks at retail accounts
- Responsible for daily paperwork and the proper completion of all Company documents
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED Required(no degree required for any position within AB ONE Wholesalers!)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and willing to drive
- Must own vehicle
- Strong customer service skills
