The Medical Assistant assists physicians as they assess, examine and treat patients. Responsibilities include patient flow management and various diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, injections and vitals.

We are currently hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant to work at our Chestnut , PA office.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.

Please note the hours for this role are 7 : 30 - 4 : 00.

Responsibilities

  • Work with an assigned physician on a daily basis
  • Escort patients to the exam room
  • Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
  • Perform stress testing and EKG's
  • Follow up on lab results
  • Answer phones and assist with check in / out procedures if necessary
  • Assist with appointment scheduling.
  • Review and prepare the next day's assignments

Requirements

  • Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
