  • Design mechanical systems for commercial, office, hospitality, mixed-use, retail, industrial, healthcare, and more in the United States and the Caribbean.
  • Design HVAC systems, load calculations, ductwork and piping layouts, equipment selections, and construction administration.
  • Prepare concept, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate technical project requirements with the entire MEP project team, including clients, project managers, other consultants, engineers, and designers.
  • Conduct code research and incorporate applicable requirements into the design.
  • Attend construction meetings, potential travel to project sites, and project meetings.

Required :

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop and sustain assets / products / kits. Assist in their commercialization and / or field implementation in agreement with project technical and timing objectives as well as applicable industry standards.

The critical infrastructure team also supports our clients through life of field with site services and data services. This position is for a Mechanical Engineer who will be part of a team supporting specification, design, assembly, and installation of the company systems and products in the laboratory and offshore as needed.

The position sometimes requires installation and factory or site acceptance testing of supplied systems onshore or abroad offshore oil platforms and ships, or in shipyards worldwide.

This position will report to Engineering Manager and will work under general supervision of a Senior Engineer or the Engineering Manager.

Duties will include (but are not limited to) :

  • Researching suitable solutions and estimating cost and schedule.
  • Define requirements and functionality of mechanical systems.
  • Assist in identifying customer requirements.
  • Customer support, communicating with clients and contractors.
