- Design electromechanical test fixtures to assist test operations and assembly.
- Test new or existing products in the development cycle to characterize their performance.
- Develop and revise test protocols, test reports, assembly procedures, and work instructions.
- Assist in parts ordering, receiving, inspection, documentation, building, and integrating medical robots such as cable assemblies, motors, PCBs, and mechanical subsystems.
- Support the R&D group in the conceptualization and application of new technologies.

Process Engineer
- We are looking for someone with 1-3yr experience
- Would consider and entry level engineer with strong co-ops / internship experience in the manufacturing / process engineering area .
- Local only, no relocation package is available
Responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents resulting in improving the efficiency and reducing the costs of production.
The Process Engineer reports to the Director of Operations.
Acquire tooling and all needed materials required to complete any given job.
Submit inspection samples to Quality Control for approval at all stages of manufacturing.
Acquire packaging materials to be used for the job.
Notify Lead if faulty material is noticed to stop the production run.
Manufacture parts according to provided specifications
Understand and operate all machinery associated with the production in a safe manner.
Adapt and adjust machinery according to the materials tolerances and specifications called out on the customer Purchase Order, drawing and / or quote.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
Keep clear and timely records of process improvement projects.
Must keep work area clean, neat and organized.

Draper is seeking a mechanical engineer for a role focused on electronics packaging. Specific responsibilities include :
- Perform mechanical design and development associated with the physical arrangement of electronic circuits including assembly design, analysis, build, test, and documentation support
- Develop die-level packaging solutions including proposing solutions for placement and control of sensing components requiring precise alignment to be maintained through shock, vibration, and thermal disturbances
- Contribute to solving complex, customer-driven problems as part of a multi-disciplinary team, advance designs when requirements are unclear or incomplete, and adapt appropriately to changes in requirements
- Communicate effectively and openly with a multi-disciplinary program team members and program leadership, including non-technical personnel

As a Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of critical process piping systems from conceptual design through plant startup and providing technical services for operating facilities.
About The Role :
- Design piping systems and pressure vessels for various chemical processes in accordance with industry codes and standards.
- Optimize plant designs for new grassroots projects and major modifications to existing facilities ensuring compliance with all process design requirements, safety, operations and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain specifications for piping materials, piping components, valves, and specialty items
- Perform pressure design calculations including minimum wall thickness, branch reinforcement, bend / miter fittings pressure capacity, external pressure, hydrostatic test pressure, etc.
- Perform pipe stress analysis to ensure compliance with applicable codes
- Prepare piping and equipment layouts, piping isometrics and pipe support drawings
