Role Summary / Purpose :

The Marketing Manager role will work closely with the Bankcard Marketing Leader and other key stakeholders to drive efficient, effective, and timely execution of the Synchrony Mastercard Cashback Bankcard marketing programs and will identify opportunities for execution improvement and best practice sharing across Co-brand portfolios.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Lead Bankcard portfolio marketing program execution including campaign workbook segmentation review and approval oversight, creative development and execution, collateral management, legal reviews and revisions, and marketing services / outside agency management
  • Lead the internal campaign review process and coordinate materials needed for each (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Fair Lending, Loyalty Review Board)
  • Lead the oversight of campaign overview / tracking / results documents for the Bankcard portfolio and create repository for campaign summaries / results
  • Assist with Bankcard portfolio budget reviews, business updates, performance reviews, and planning sessions
  • Lead invoice and inventory management (e.g., terms & conditions, privacy, website agreements, card benefits guides) and pricing / change-in-terms

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or in lieu of degree, 6+ years of marketing experience in retail, financial services, credit card and / or payments industry
  • 4+ years of proven experience in a marketing function at a multi-product / multi-channel financial services or retail organization
