YOU ARE : A creative and driven marketing guru that loves building a brand. The Partner Marketing Specialist will closely integrate themselves into partner marketing operations and build close relationships with key retail partners, along with internal cross functional teams.
Internally you will work with Brand Marketing, CRM, Compliance, Sales, E-Commerce and Product teams to develop, plan, and deliver impactful campaigns intended to drive new user acquisition, repeat usage, and total life-time value.
The Partner Marketing Specialist should feel comfortable working across several different product categories and feel comfortable presenting to senior level executives.
OUR DAY-TO-DAY :
- Act as the main point of contact for all marketing touch points for Retail Partner & Progressive’s internal marketing team
- Work closely with Retail Partners to develop overall marketing strategy and execute a variety of co-marketing campaigns across multiple retail channels
- Help identify campaign objectives driven by business goals focused on acquisition, engagement, awareness and lease origination
- Build clear messaging and campaign testing plans within the Retail Partner channels
- Work with internal and external cross functional teams to develop go to market plans, and track and measure program success
- Use industry knowledge and research to forecast marketing opportunities that drive business goals
- Partner with cross-functional internal teams to drive process efficiencies and share findings to advise future-state
- Own the creation, development, and innovation of campaign creative and collateral
- Nurture relationships across the merchant organization
YOU’LL BRING :
- 3+ years of marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar field preferred. MBA preferred
- Strong working knowledge of retail, experience working with and leading execution at large, national retailers
- Strong working knowledge of marketing strategy and channel experience (in-store, digital, TV, radio, etc.)
- Strong, detail oriented, project management skills
- Strong, storytelling, speaking, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, retail / shopper marketing, both online and offline
- Strong understanding of Ecommerce best practices
- Strong understanding of shopper behaviors and trends

Purpose of Role
The Marketing Manager, functioning as a Marketing Business Partner, will be responsible for driving key marketing initiatives and campaigns designed to improve our customer journey, conversions, and support our revenue and profit goals.
You will be a continuous source of ideas, innovations, and inspiration. You will be relentless in building the understanding of your market and customer needs (internal and external), both current and future continually thinking locally, but acting with a global mindset.
This position will be based within the US, working with stakeholders both locally and in Europe. The Marketing Business Partner will work heavily with a commercial group in California.
The Marketing Business Partner will work closely with the entire global marketing team to deliver marketing leading performance for North America.
You will also work with and across function departments including Sales, Product Management, and Customer Care, and Finance.
Main Responsibilities :
- Manage national commercial marketing activities to ensure maximum lead generation to drive the growth of the company’s products and solutions in support of the global marketing strategy.
- Plan and report on localized marketing activities which will include but not limited to, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing, newsletters, events, webinars, advertisements, and PR as part of the growth strategy, providing coherent and complete briefs to the channel / operations teams within global marketing.
- Analyze, understand, interpret, and share industry research, engineering innovations, competitive intelligence, customer data, and market insights, to form compelling and differentiated Account Based Marketing plans.
- Collect and report on all regional completive intelligence, including products and campaigns, contributing to the competitive and relevant nature of our marketing.
- Cascade communications and provide education of marketing plans with sales and align to develop effective campaigns in line with the marketing strategy to internal stakeholders with particular focus on providing guidance and support conversion opportunities.
Professional Qualifications / Experience
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a similar role with a strong track-record of Marketing is preferred.
- Previous experience of working with a technical B2B focused company; or a production, manufacturing or technical environment would be helpful.

Compensation
The compensation for this position is $70,000 to $78,000.
Sponsorship
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the Unites States on a full-time bases and will not now or in the future requires sponsorship for employment visa.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for management and execution of direct marketing initiatives (primarily email) across a three brand portfolio.
- Manage day-to-day email marketing efforts, including email communication strategy, acquisition, performance retention efforts, customer journey and segmentation efforts, creative and content, email review and QA, reporting, measurement and optimization.
- Partner with a variety of teams, including business stakeholders, brand, marketing activation, product, measurement, marketing technology and IT marketing operations and other internal teams and external agency partners to support marketing efforts.
