Product Manager
Position Summary :
This position will provide product life cycle management to assigned product lines, to include the introduction of new products as well as product line rationalization.
Primary Responsibilities :
Provides expertise in assigned product area, staying fluent in the state clinical practice and various product use cases.
Act as the Voice of Customer for the product portfolio, developing customer requirements and proposing new product concepts.
Work proactively and collaboratively with all stakeholders throughout the business to communicate market needs and global strategies for assigned product line(s).
Ensure continuous alignment around project timelines and expectations between project team members and management. Ensure timely and effective execution against established projects and priorities.
Conduct detailed analyses of product & market trends, competitive activity, reimbursement, clinical advances, and Advanced Development activities.
Ensure that product strategies and development efforts meet market needs & strategies.
Craft impactful business models and present recommendations to senior leadership.
Plan, organize, and coordinates assigned programs / tasks to ensure completion of goals within budgetary and timeline goals.
Coordinate activities with other product managers.
Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Business / Engineering or equivalent.
4-7 years of relevant product and / or market experience. Upstream marketing experience in medical device industry preferred.
Experience with diagnostic medical devices.
Experience with successfully launching products.
Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
Demonstrated ability to translate technical information into meaningful sales and customer messaging.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
A proven track record of developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
Financial modeling and forecasting experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent, complex projects / tasks.
Strong time management and organization skills.
Detail-savvy but outcomes-oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication and social skills.
Individual must be willing to travel up to 30% of time including internationally.
Individual must be able to work in a clinical environment to view product use and procedures and to support customer visits.

Job purpose
Responsible for managing the full life cycle of hiring for all positions, at all levels in our sales department. Detailed responsibilities will include identifying qualified candidates for sales roles, scheduling and conducting candidate interviews, candidate pipeline development and management, continuous sourcing strategy execution, requisition management and presenting and negotiating employment offers.
Duties and responsibilities
- Work closely with sales management to determine hiring needs and review and understand territory requirements.
- Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Utilize online recruiting resources and in-house systems to identify and recruit the best candidates
- Source and screen resumes for positions in Sales primarily. Conduct telephones screens to further qualify applicants for all open positions
- Ensure timely communications with all candidates and hiring managers
- Ensure sales recruiting vendors properly follow all process and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our recruiting database
- Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers to schedule interviews
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create recruiting partnerships that yield success, predictable results and credibility
- Develop and execute continuous sourcing strategies with corresponding success metrics
- Assist with special projects
- This position is Hybrid and will be both in-office and remote.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 4 years experience in either a corporate or agency recruiting role required
- Sales recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Candidates should be knowledgeable in internet recruiting techniques and familiar with working with resume management / applicant tracking database systems
- Strong sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills required
- Experience developing and executing recruiting strategies strongly preferred
- The ability to prioritize, manage time well, and work closely with the sales team to quickly address needs and adjust focus as needed
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Quick learner, with a positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to treat sensitive / confidential information with appropriate discretion
Working conditions
This position is generally performed in a typical office environment that is usually quiet. Employee is expected to work collaboratively with team members, as well as able to work independently with limited supervision.
Work will require significant computer and telephone work.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
Supervisory responsibility
This position has no direct reports but will partner regularly with the Recruiting Coordinator.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Experience with streaming and messaging platforms (Kafka, Rabbit MQ)
- 5+ years of experience with data engineering, software engineering with data focus, business intelligence, data ETL, and data modeling
- 2+ years of hands on (daily) ETL tool experience, such as Talend, Glue, Airflow or similar
- 3+ years of experience with AWS services, such S3, Glue, Kinesis, and RDS.
- 5+ years of software development experience with C# / C++ and Python including distributed systems
- Machine Learning experience strongly desired
- Experience with IaC and CI / CD (Terraform) in a cloud environment desired
- Experience with HIPAA and GDPR a plus
Salary for this position is $125,000-$140,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
