What we are looking for :

Yazaki is looking for a Co-op to join the Accounts Receivable team at Yazaki North America, in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

What you will be doing :

  • Assist the billing team by processing invoices based on details provided by the billing manager or associates and email invoices to the customers
  • Support Billing and Credit teams in contract review and other ad-hoc data analysis or entry required
  • Review the list of overdue accounts and analyze payment trend to Yazaki versus other suppliers based on credit tools used by YNA credit

What you will bring to the table :

  • Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution at the time of internship targeting
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA : 3.0
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to commit to two semesters
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting

What we are looking for :

Yazaki is looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team in La Vergne, Tn. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

The Logistics Specialist will lead the development and implementation of logistic planning activities, including cost analysis, cost verification, and allocation of costs to Business Units.

Direct interaction will be required with external and internal customers, as well as current and potential service providers.

What you will be doing :

Under direction from management and using independent judgment, you will analyze financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of cost on business.

Examine supply chain methods, distribution locations, transportation routes and services provided to determine total logistics costs.

Compares actual cost to estimates and identifies reasons for variances. Analyze actual costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual costs.

Provide management with detailed reports for the use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Degree Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree or previous experience as specified below

Previous Experience :

Three years previous experience in Financial Planning, Cost Estimating or Logistics Planning preferably in the automotive sector

What we are looking for :

YII is looking for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our team based out of Plano, TX . The Sr. Mechanical Engineer is responsible to lead the mechanical design efforts of Yazaki Innovations’ projects in the automotive, energy, robotics, and other areas.

The senior ME will work with Yazaki Innovations’ clients to scope and define the project and ensure that the product being designed meets the end user’s needs.

They will distill the mechanical requirements from the overall system requirements in addition to designing and integrating components and modules.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with minimal supervision to meet defined program objectives and milestones in an environment where they will be given the freedom to innovate, explore new methods and solutions.

This position is fully remote with some travel to the office and customer site.

What you will be doing :

  • Define the mechanical system architecture, working cross functionally with the rest of the internal and external engineering teams to ensure that the parts being designed for the project will work seamlessly with other parts of the design (electrical, thermal, software, etc).
  • Once a design has been completed, prototypes will need to be fabricated and tested. The senior ME will lead this process, and will also work with the rest of the engineering team to test and validate designs
  • Once a design has been tested and validated, the Senior ME will work with internal or external manufacturing teams to include DFM / DFA improvements into the design, and will also work directly with the factories to ensure a seamless production process.
  • There will be mostly NPD responsibilities in this job, but there will be some NPI responsibilities as well.

What you will bring to the table :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Comfortable working cross functionally with other types of engineers (software, electrical, etc.)
  • Comfortable mentoring a more junior engineer
  • Experience with CAD tools and 3D modeling
  • Design for Manufacturing and fabrication experience
  • Experience working with outside partners as a part of the electrical design process
  • Experience working with manufacturing partners and transferring designs to manufacturing
  • Experience with thermal management and heat dissipation
  • Experience working on electromechanical systems and systems with software control, such as robotics
  • Experience in wiring and harnessing
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects; requires good time management and organizational skills to meet stringent deadlines
  • Understanding of Functional Safety & Cybersecurity and their impacts on electrical design & architecture
  • Understanding of automotive and other industry standards
  • Knowledge of vehicle high voltage (HV) systems including safety and awareness
