One Company. One Team. AMD together we advance THE ROLE : This GOQ Finance Manager role is a high-visibility position within AMD's Finance organization and will manage a team of 4 to 5 people.

This role is essential to the success of the business and reports directly to the GOQ Finance Director. This role performs strategic analyses and reporting (e.

g., spend, product costing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives. THE PERSON : The ideal candidate should have a bias for action, a high sense of collaboration, and the ability make recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Additionally, we are looking for a teammate with leadership experience that will take ownership of the role, drive improvements in execution, and implement standardized work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES : Maintain / update financial models used to drive planning and achievement of quarterly, annual, and long-range plans for Cost of Goods Sold, operating expenses and capital expenses Support intra-quarter forecast / outlook process Help drive executive presentations for financial-related inputs Support Standards costing Provide supporting schedules for Corp accounting Efficiently deliver Ad Hoc analysis, reporting, and projects on request Support for ERP related systems implementation PREFFERED EXPERIENCE : Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication, teaming, and problem-solving skills Strong analytical and interpersonal skills to work on a wide range of initiatives.

Good understanding of financial concepts and US GAAP Prior experience in Manufacturing and Manufacturing costing is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint with strong financial modeling skill is desired.

Prior experience in supporting global manufacturing processes is a plus as well as experience in working with Global cross functional teams.

Excellent understanding of / or skills with financial planning & reporting systems. This Experience with SAP is preferable, and ERP systems implementation background a plus Validated experience preferably in a global fast-paced driven multi-site high-tech environment ACADEMIC CREDITIALS : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related Finance discipline preferred #LI-WR1 At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.

One Company. One Team. AMD together we advance The Role We are searching for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our team and help support the Global Operations Finance team.

This is a role that will engage directly with Global Operations business unit as well as the Segment Business Units to help manage the costs of Inventory and global manufacturing processes that directly support the revenue, margin, supply chain, and operating expense targets of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Maintain financial models used to support driving quarterly, annual, and long-range planning for Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold, operating expenses and capital expenses Support intra-quarter forecast / outlook process Help drive executive presentations for all financial-related inputs Support Standards costing Provide support for monthly reports for executive management Compile inventory reconciliations Support spend analysis Provide supporting schedules for Corp accounting Efficiently deliver Ad Hoc analysis, reporting, and projects on request PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modeling skill is required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point is preferred. Strong analytical and organizational skills required to work on a wide range of initiatives Good understanding of Financial concepts and general understanding of US GAAP accounting principles.

Excellent understanding of / or skills with financial planning & reporting systems. SAP experience is preferable. SQL, Data mining, and database management skills would be helpful.
