Clearance Requirement : Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Travel Requirements : Negligible

Location : Norfolk, VA

SUMMARY : WR has an opportunity for a Warehouse Specialist to receive, store, move, and distribute materials.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following :

• Fill requisitions, work orders, and / or requests for materials and distribute items to designated personnel.
• With assistance, load, unload, and check in materials.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers and mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Electronically record amount of materials or items received or distributed.
• Assist with counting of physical inventory.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience :

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two (2)+ years of warehouse experience, to include :
• Performing inventory
• Staging
• Packing
• Storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material
• Operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment
• Utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material
