As a Technical Recruiter at Wilson & Company, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates for various technical roles within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

You will work closely with hiring managers and project teams to understand their requirements and identify individuals who possess the skills, experience, and cultural fit needed to excel in our organization.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in technical recruiting.

Responsibilities :

  • Partner with hiring managers and project teams to understand their technical staffing needs and develop comprehensive job descriptions and specifications.
  • Source and attract top-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Review resumes and conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and potential fit for the role.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and project teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  • Conduct reference checks and verify candidates' qualifications, certifications, and work history.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to negotiate job offers, including compensation, benefits, and other employment terms.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future positions through proactive networking and relationship building.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting, implementing innovative sourcing strategies and tools as appropriate.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, preferably in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing methods, including online platforms, social media, and professional networks.
  • Exceptional interviewing skills, with the ability to assess technical competencies and cultural fit effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and project teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in evaluating candidates' qualifications and experience.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software tools.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Recruiter, preferably within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling technical positions with highly skilled candidates.
  • Experience working with hiring managers and project teams to understand their staffing needs and translate them into job requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and attracting candidates through various channels and platforms.
  • Strong background in conducting thorough interviews and assessing technical competencies.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring.
