WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :
As A Mobile Mini Driver, you will :
- Deliver all portable storage units to customers locally
- Work with the internal office and yard staff to complete orders
- Clean, repair and ensure all Mobile Mini Storage Units and Offices are in working condition
- Receive competitive compensation, full Medical, Dental, Vision & 401 (k)
Essential Job Functions Include :
- Good people skills : You’ll interact with a lot of our customers, so being able to communicate well with others is a must!
- Be able to handle a physically demanding position : Our driver positions will require a generous amount of lifting heavy equipment and repairing storage units before you deliver them to customers.
Equipment used :
- Tractor trailers : Both hydraulic and gas powered
- Unit trailers
- Telephone, radio, handheld dispatch equipment, & computers
- Load pulling / load securement chains, straps, winch
- Welding equipment
- Minor electric equipment, cleaning & repair tools
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL commercial vehicle operator’s license issued by one state or jurisdiction
- May consider Class B CDL commercial vehicle operator’s license issued by one state or jurisdiction with the ability to obtain Class A CDL within reasonable time period based on business needs
- Preferred : Three (3) years’ Class A CDL experience OR two (2) years’ Class A CDL experience and a truck driving school certificate within the last 7 years
- Preferred : Six (6) months of Class A CDL OR Roll-off truck experience within the last 24 months
- For the right candidate, we’ll reimburse for truck driving school and on-the-job training
- Towing experience is a plus
- Truck driving experience during your time in the military is gladly accepted!
- Valid medical certificate and is physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle
- Ability to read and speak English in order to speak to your team and customers, drive and understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries and make entries to reports and record
- 1 year of experience with maintenance and repairs is a plus!

ABOUT THE JOB :
Do you have an innate ability to establish deep, long-term relationships based on trust, accountability, and outstanding service?
Do you want to develop customized solutions to your client’s unique challenges? Do you enjoy the hunt for acquiring new business?

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :
- Work closely and professionally with local Territory Sales Managers to serve customers in the territory.
- Conduct prospecting calls through means such as Dodge reports, corporate marketing lists, referrals, local media, etc. Respond to all incoming leads daily.
- Follow up with every customer / opportunity to minimize the risk of losing business.
- Effectively communicate Williams Scotsman’s value proposition to customers. Anticipate and overcome objections and ask for the deal.
- Understand Williams Scotsman’s Essentials Service offerings and any future offerings. Proactively sell the offerings to all customers
- Grow sales of 360 offerings in addition to other potential new initiatives.
- Proactively communicate ideas for additional 360 offerings to commercial leadership.
- Maintain and grow relationships with major customers to ensure best value is achieved.
- Effectively follow KPI goals and objectives, track progress versus goals, and make adjustments if behind on goals.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- 1+ years of sales experience, B2B sales, consultative selling and solution selling experiences are pluses
- Previous successful phone selling skills preferred
- High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- General knowledge of the construction process and site services is a plus.
