SUMMARY

The Truck Driver position requires an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Comply with company Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Document and log work / rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel / toll receipts
  • Input macros into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
  • Report defects, accidents or violations
  • Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • No recent moving or driving violations
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
  • Willing to submit to background / drug checks and provide employment recommendations

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
  • 1 2 years' experience in a relevant field

  • Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable

Maintenance Mechanic/ Electrician

SUMMARY

We are looking for an individual to work under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, repairing all existing electrical equipment in production areas, troubleshooting PLC's as needed, and repairing / maintaining the assigned machinery and mechanical equipment while ensuring all company safety rules and policies are followed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Comply with Westlake Safety Policies

Maintain and repair all existing electrical equipment in production areas and troubleshooting PLC's by utilizing ladder diagrams and schematics.

Utilize troubleshooting techniques to analyze, detect, and determine the nature of a problem, and extent of repairs required

Actively participate in the preventative maintenance program

Perform Electrical preventative maintenance of electrical control panels and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards

Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies by utilizing lean and 5s principles

Follow and enforce company safety policies and procedures always and operate wide variety of manufacturing tools

Work with company engineering on electrical upgrade and new equipment installs

Execute electrical related inspections and report accordingly

Run conduit and electrically terminate wiring in industrial equipment, interpret input output modules, and operate a variety of tools and equipment in a safe manner

Must place the upmost importance on working safely, and maintain a safe work environment for self and others, always

Installs, rebuilds and repairs a wide variety of machines as directed by the Maintenance Manager / supervisor

Other duties as assigned

Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and motor controls

Good communication skills

Exposure to airborne particles within a manufacturing operation

SUMMARY

The Welder is responsible for laying out, aligning and welding mainly vinyl and aluminum frames by using welding equipment or hand tools.

This role is in charge of laying out frames as well as assemble according to the requirements of the assignment. The Welder applies appropriate welding processes to join, surface, and fabricate frame parts of metal or vinyl according to layouts and work orders .

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Comply with Westlake Safety Policies

Applies appropriate welding processes to join frames .

Maintain welding equipment through regular welding equipment maintenance .

Perform other duties and responsibilities requested by the supervisor .

Use of hand and power tools .

Fit and align fabricated frames to be welded or assembled.

Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly.

Moves parts and heavy frames on and off machinery .

Lays out, positions, aligns and fits frames or parts together in various body positions.

Prepare and execute order fulfillment .

Fit and weld complex assemblies.

May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.

Set up work as required for welding.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to follow all safety and environmental protection rules .

Basic knowledge on how to read a tape measure .

Team player and goal oriented .

Excellent detailing skills .

General knowledge of how tools operate .

Ability to work without supervision .
