Quality Assurance Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE : QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER FLSA : EXEMPT DEPARTMENT : EMPLOYMENT SERVICES REPORTS TO : PROGRAM MANAGER LOCATION : WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY SALARY : $57,000.
00 -$ 67,000.00 SUMMARY : The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and oversee our teams DSS quality control and management processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing procedures for quality control and ensuring our practices adhere to industry standards and government regulations.
Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the Program Assistant team. We expect you to compile and analyze our team’s core compliance, policies and procedures, conduct internal quality control audits, and plan corrective measures to mitigate compliance risks.
Under the guidance of the Program Manager, you will also report incidents related to quality assurance and regulatory non-compliance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure that Employment service staff are completing the following : Enrolling participants into Apricot data system including all mandatory data elements Assessing clients using the proper Assessment tools Completing any and all enrollment documents fully and accurately Entering data regarding client disability and employment information plus uploading supporting documentation Reviewing all supporting documents as it pertains to their participation in job search Are copying and filing employment verification for the appropriate milestone outcomes Reviewing clients Eligibility / Referral decisions Checking that the participant has his / her I9 documents in program chart Attending and participating in team meetings Updating workshop attendance and CWEP hours align with timesheets Follow up with staff when information is contradictory or incomplete.
Provide data quality feedback and corrective assistance on a monthly basis Review and ensure the proper case closures align with monthly reports Continue to look for ways to streamline systems in our data collection & entry processes Meets with direct report for weekly supervision Reviews and submits accurate, timely reports as requested Other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At minimum 2 years’ experience in quality assurance experience is a must. Workforce development experience is a plus. Excellent communication (written and verbal) ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrated talent and ability to learn new technologies and implement them successfully. Good working knowledge / skills with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to Excel, Word.
Strong interpersonal skills, professional presence, and ability to interact with a diverse audience. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.

JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE : CUSTODIAN FLSA : NON-EXEMPT DIVISION : SERVICES - FACILITIES REPORTS TO : FACILITY MANAGER LOCATION : BRIARWOOD, NY SALARY : $17 - $18 PER HOUR SUMMARY : The Custodian performs all custodial related duties to maintain a safe and clean facility, including interior and exterior grounds of a 200 bed men’s homeless shelter.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Complete all scheduled custodial duties in accordance with custodian cleaning checklist.
Cleans floors, hallways and common areas including vacuuming, buffing, and waxing floors. Cleans bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, lobby and offices.
Cleans and maintains office areas. Checks and replaces all interior and exterior light bulbs. Assists with minor maintenance and building repairs as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS : High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience or work history with the ability and desire to learn building custodial services.
Experience with buffing and other cleaning equipment a must. Must communicate appropriately peers and management and to exhibit patience and understanding towards client population being served.
