In this role you will :

About this role : Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer.

As our technology organization shifts from traditional infrastructure towards virtualization, cloud-based deployments,

highly convergent infrastructure, and containerization, the Sr. Information Security Engineer will be critical in defining, or transitioning to, corresponding authentication technologies supplying a stable, secure and effective strategy for our current and future-state infrastructure driven by automation and standardization / simplification of policy and control.

Scope will include :

Integration with existing provisioning models

Single-source-of-truth directory structure

Application and toolset interoperability

Reporting, validation and attestation of application / service configuration and compliance for internal / external audit

Documentation and dissemination of information to support teams and leadership

Partnership with engineers across multiple LOB, or Business partners, extending, or introducing new, capabilities

Key responsibilities :

Partner with Product Owners and Lines of Business to build and deliver integrated and holistic solutions aligned to Wells Fargo application and infrastructure authentication strategy

Define SLAs, standards, metrics, offering, processes, and validation criteria for authentication products

Create and communicate an integrated strategy and road-map for infrastructure services aligned to product areas, requirements, and execution goals

SME for authentication services within the infrastructure including : Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Application integration with products / offerings (on-prem and off-prem)

In this role, you will :

  • Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities for moderately complex events
  • Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
  • Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
  • Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
  • Review and correlate security logs
  • Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US :

  • 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience with Information security domains (data, crypto, IAM, network, platform or application)
  • 3+ years of MS Active Directory experience
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Azure cloud computing technology

Desired Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of IAM (Identity and Access Management) experience
  • 4+ years of virtualization technologies experience
  • 4+ years of Active Directory experience
  • 3 + years of cloud computing experience

Pay Range

$100,800.00 - $179,200.00 Annual
