Waverley Country Club is currently seeking Bartenders to join our team.
We are looking for individuals with a positive, outgoing personality that can make top-notch cocktails in an efficient manner.
Candidates must be available to work evenings, weekends and willing to work flexible hours.
The starting pay rate is $ per hour. Waverley is a non-tipping club. In lieu of tips, we offer access to the golf course, and use of kayaks and / or paddle boards for the river on Mondays, meals during scheduled shifts.

What you will do
- Maintain composure and professionalism in peak hours and slow times
- Greet and acknowledge members by name and remember their drink preferences
- Inspects bar prior to opening in coordination with the opening par sheet to ensure all supplies are ready for the shift
- Prepare drinks according to house cocktail and standard drink recipes
- Memorize house wines, liquors, and beer.
- Input food and drink orders accurately into the point-of-sale system
- Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks.
- Stock bar as needed; maintain and clean all bar equipment including glassware
- Be a part of a team that looks to consistently exceed members expectations.
- Abide by sanitation requirements set by WCC & OSHA
- Assist other members of the WCC team as needed, including but not limited to event set up and break downs
Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends.
- Knowledge of common cocktails, wine, and beer.
- Must have a current Food Handlers Card and OLCC permit.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30-45 pounds consistently.
- Maintain a high level of service during both busy and slow hours.
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Seasonal Server Assistant

Waverley Country Club is currently seeking Server Assistants to join us this summer season.
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room, service stations and assisting servers to provide an excellent service.
Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, can take direction, and can work well as part of a team. This is a seasonal position starting Mid-May and working through the end of September.

What you will do
- Memorizes table and seat numbers
- Brings water, food and other items to tables as requested
- Communicates with servers, hosts, and the manager-on-duty as needed to create a successful service
- Removes dirty glasses, utensils, plates, and glassware from tables
- Maintains and stocks service stations
- Clears and resets tables according to dining protocol
- Upholds cleaning standards in all service areas and as requested by the MOD
- Assists with moving furniture and resetting rooms during event day
Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Must be friendly, willing to work in a team environment.
- Must have a current Food Handlers Card and (OLCC permit if 18 years or older).
- Must pass company pre-employment background check.
- Ability to lift 15-30 pounds.
- Being a server assistant is physical work and this job also requires the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.
