We currently have an opportunity for a Call Center Representative for our Hialeah location.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Handles inbound and outbound calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
• Assist patients by scheduling, canceling and / or confirming medical provider appointments and Transportation (if applicable).
• Addresses callers needs which may include resolving issues and educating caller.
• Provides excellent service to our callers that consistently exceeds expectations
• Escalates unresolved issues to respective Management team.
• Meets established Departmental Metrics (Qualitative and Quantitative).
• Takes messages for Providers and / or respective Medical Center personnel and documents message / Callers request via Nextgen and / or e-mail.
• Participate in Staff and Educational Meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience :

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of customer service or customer relations experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Must be patient with working with an elderly population.
• Schedule : Monday to Friday; 8-hour shift; flexible schedule

We currently have an opportunity for a Front Desk Clerk for our Westchester location.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Greets patients when they come in.
• Provides patients with guidance regarding their clinical Appointment (place & time)
• Reviews the medical insurance to check eligibility status.
• Requests further documentation if needed (Id’s)
• Creates an encounter through the Check-in process.
• Completes necessary documentation and paperwork for patients. This includes but is not limited to forms, authorization, and releases.
• Receives telephone calls and routes and resolves them accordingly.
• Schedules and re-schedules Appointments.
• Calls patients to confirm Appointments and verify transportation need.
• Revise Appointment list and accommodate it as needed.
• In charge of system alerts.
• Update patient information.
• Print future Appointment list to provide to patient.
• Work on reports such as Inactive report, Disenrollment report, Post ER report, and hospital discharge report.
• Create same day Appointment and transportation.
• Create system alerts for patients as needed.
• Participates in trainings, meetings, educational programs.
• Perform other duties as needed / assigned.

Experience / Qualifications :

• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Great Phone Etiquette.
• Bilingual, English and Spanish

We currently have an opportunity for a Medical Assistant for our Hialeah location.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Take patients from the lobby to the triage room where vital signs are taken, information about social history is requested, and assessment (review of system) is performed.
• As per Doctor’s orders, they do EKG’s, injections, vaccines, nebulizer machine treatments.
• Enter ordered treatments in the system.
• Assist Doctors as needed during medical examination.
• Perform Chart Review prior to patient’s visit to assure proper documentation is in the chart.
• In charge of the following logs : Oxygen tanks, Eyewash, and Refrigerators.
• Conduct weekly review of existing medications in the center to assure no medication is expired and clinic complies as per medication guidelines.
• In charge of the Sharp Containers and the Waste Biohazard Containers (labels and replacement).
• Return all phone calls to patients, providers, and facilities by the end of the day.
• Serve as a liaison between doctors, patients, and third parties.
• In charge of organizing and maintaining the inventory of medications and clinical supplies.
• Provide Administration with a monthly list of medications to order (based on the clinic’s needs).
• Assist with the completion of medical and social forms as per Doctor’s orders.
• Review medication history and current medication usage for patients.
• Regular disinfestation of examining room equipment and instruments.
• Respond accordingly to clinical tasking sent by Doctors in the EHR system.
• Assist Doctors with any needed coordination for patients with medical necessities.
• HEDIS Measures.
• Medical Assistant Diploma.
• CPR or BLS certificate issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Phlebotomy license required.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
• At least two (2) years of experience as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist or in additional areas of patient health care in a clinical setting.
• Schedule : Monday to Friday; 8-hour shift; flexible schedule
