The Controller must be good at giving and receiving constructive feedback. Responsibilities : Oversees / manages all billing and accounts payable.
Maintains knowledge of and implements systems which assure compliance with all state and federal laws / regulations, and which ensure effective operations.
Establishes and maintains an accounting system that accurately reflects the facility's income, operating costs, and financial condition.
Assists managers in financial negotiations with outside entities such as lenders, purchasers, suppliers, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
Assists managers in financial negotiations with outside entities such as lenders, purchasers, suppliers, etc Plans and implements a Continuous Quality Improvement program for areas of responsibility, which address all aspects of financial operations.

Porter
Verrazano Nursing & Post-Acute Center is looking for a Porter to join our team. The Porter will clean, sanitize, and maintain private residences and commercial buildings.
The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.
- Responsibilities : The Porter will be responsible for, but not limited to : Maintains the facility by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing Removing miscellaneous debris by removing trash Refreshing bath area by cleaning toilet, and sinks;
- refilling hand towel and toilet paper dispensers Cleaning floors by washing and vacuuming floors Maintaining furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture;
- cleaning and polishing glass surfaces Keeping supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies; ordering new supplies as needed Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions;
- troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures;
- complying with security regulation Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Enhancing housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
