Essential Job Functions
CSC developed the SDL role for its outsourcing accounts to provide a structured security program. A 2004 AMR research study identified the benefits of having a single authorized security chief to include :
- Coordinate security policy across all business groups and divisions
- Raise visibility of security.
- Map security issues to business issues; and
- Ensure that security policy is enforced.
The SDL is the single point of accountability for security matters on an account and provides the benefits outlined above.
As a key member of the account management team, the SDL develops and drives the security program for the account to ensure that CSC maintains compliance with client security policies and safeguards the infrastructure.
The SDL interprets the client’s security policy and monitors compliance with the policy.
Depending upon the account size and in scope services, the GSS Product Line on an account may be made up of a team of dedicated GSS resources reporting directly to the SDL for account activities.
The SDL may also leverage services from GSS to meet client requirements. GSS’ Regardless of the delivery mechanism the SDL is the primary interface to the client and the account for all security services being delivered
SDL ROLES
The SDL is the GSS Product Line lead responsible all security matters, including both physical and information security, for an account.
The SDL is the account’s security interface to the client and represents CSC on any security related topics / discussions.
The SDL is accountable for managing the delivery of security services to include defining and implementing the account’s security program that includes a variety of physical and information security services tailored to meet clients’ needs.
The SDL is responsible for providing security technical, business, and operational planning, execution, and reporting.
The SDL provides management and oversight of the delivery of security services to an account to ensure that :
- Service Level Agreements are met (where applicable)
- Security incidents are resolved in a timely manner
- Audits are successful
- GSS activities are coordinated with other Product Lines
The account and security projects are properly staffed to meet business and service delivery requirements.
- Security processes and procedures are implemented effectively across the account
- Financial commitments and reporting requirements are met; and
- GSS’s capabilities are provided maximum opportunity to support account expansion goals. In support of this, the SDL assists in opportunity identification;
strategy and service offering development; proposal writing; and client presentations.
The SDL’s responsibilities include :
- Serving as the primary focal point to the customer on all security matters and audits for an account
- Coordinating the implementation of a client’s security policy by all Product Lines throughout an account
- Defining and managing security procedures for an account
- Requesting and managing the leveraging of security services from GSS as required
- Ensuring that security service delivery meets required service level agreements
- Managing security vulnerability analysis and security patching by the responsible Product Lines
- Managing system security certification (where applicable) :
- Developing and implementing security training programs
- Developing and implementing account-wide incident response programs
- Delivering security compliance reports as required by an account
- Planning, developing, establishing, and managing technical security projects
- Establishing and leading the account Security Working Groups
- Developing, advocating, and managing account security budgets
- Supporting account expansion initiatives by promoting GSS’s capabilities and introducing GSS offerings; and
- Hiring, training, rewarding, mentoring, and managing the account security staff.

Salary Range Disclaimer
For individuals assigned and / or hired to work in the following states California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington , DXC is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the DXC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets;
experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DXC's employee compensation package.
Other rewards may include a vacation policy and region-specific benefits.
At DXC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at / near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 105,700.
00 - 158,500.00 USD Annually.
Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) : You will be eligible to participate in the FY24 (Fiscal year runs 1 of April, 2023 to 31 of March 2024), ICP and your target incentive opportunity will be XX% of your annual base salary pro-rated as appropriate based on your start date, if after the beginning of the fiscal year.
You must be hired by December 31, 2023 to be eligible to participate in the Fiscal 2024 plan. Your earned ICP award, if any, will be based on both Company and individual performance and will be payable in cash in accordance with the terms of the DXC ICP Operating Rules.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $105,700 - $158,500.

Principal Product Manager
Description
The DXC Assure Ingenium Product Manager is responsible for knowing the customer, setting objectives across the product’s components, defining and socializing the roadmap, and, in collaboration with Product Owners, leading the development teams in meeting these objectives.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :
Fulfill the DXC Assure Ingenium Product Manager role in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) product development team, collaborating with product owners and development teams in the solution ART.
To maximize saleability, utilize extensive insurance experience in the Life and Annuity market to identify, define, and prioritize new ideas and development features.
Define product roadmaps in collaboration with customers, product owners, delivery teams, and sales teams. Monitor feature usage and continuously gather feedback to improve the product and its roadmap.
Be a lead participant in the product user group and related design and consultation activities.
Act as a primary point of contact for all stakeholders on matters related to the product.
Socialize and present roadmaps to customers and internal DXC community groups.
Participate in Agile events and support the product owners in articulating and defining feature requirements and resolving queries from the development team.
Work closely with the pre-sales and sales teams to engage with prospects and existing customers, position the product and its feature set, and explain the functionality and business benefits.

Essential Skills / Qualifications :
Extensive Life and Annuity experience exposure to the following markets : North America and Asia
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate requirements to a multi-disciplinary team spread across the Americas and Asia.
Credible and knowledgeable in front of insurance customers and prospects, able to clearly articulate the product's capability and align it to customer requirements while using these interactions to drive future development.
Experience in the full software development lifecycle in a business leadership role.
Able to demonstrate good knowledge of multiple market-leading Life and Annuity insurance software products, including detailed working knowledge of at least one of these, to a level where best-of-breed features and functions can be identified and articulated to the team.
Familiarity with database structures and how they are typically used within insurance products.
Experience in working to strict deadlines individually and as part of a team.
Ability to work flexible hours as required - connecting and collaborating with colleagues in different time zones.
Able to travel as needed to fulfill these responsibilities.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications :
Working knowledge of one or more DXC software products for insurance carriers.
Experience working in an Agile development environment, ideally SAFe.
Knowledge and experience in analysis techniques, ideally in using a formal analysis methodology to build solutions.
Experience in demonstrating software products.
