We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Analyst to join Insurance Services Division to conduct comprehensive analyses for various UPMC Health Plan products and programs.

This individual will have the opportunity to drive critical decision-making through their analyses.

Responsibilities :

Purpose :

Clean all aspects of assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, offices and equipment, to meet Hospital and Department standards in order to promote the quality of care rendered in the environment.

Move equipment, furniture, boxes, etc. and remove and hang blinds and curtains.

Responsibilities :

• Make beds, following established cleaning procedures in all patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.
• Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, report problems to the supervisor.
• Clean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment, following established procedures.
• Maintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition, reporting problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
• Remove trash from all assigned areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Move equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets, etc. as assigned.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in order to successfully complete housekeeping duties. Ability to use housekeeping equipment.

May in the course of duties be in rooms where medications are stored. No contact with medications is allowed.

This position will be a paid internship at the hourly rate of $16.59.

Responsibilities :

• Perform basic knife skills
• Prepare stocks, soups, and sauces
• Adhere to rules of kitchen safety and industry standards for sanitation procedures
• Complete understanding of math equations, measurements, and vocabulary dealing with everyday kitchen and bake shop procedures
• Demonstrate and practice production with plate presentation in a timely manner
• Preparation of individually plated menu items
• Operate and use equipment and tools related to kitchen standards
• Select and utilize baking supplies and ingredients as needed
• Demonstrate and practice production of cuisines, tastings, and evaluating cooking presentations
• Demonstrate and practice fabrication of seafood products, various poultry, beef, pork, lamb, and game
