Course Description : This course examines the impacts of the internet on environmental thinking and policy-making. Topics include the use of social media as a tool for community-building and collaborative design, the sharing economy, online protest movements, mass surveillance and its implications, and the impact of misinformation on climate denialism.

Introduction to Computer Science - Ramp-up TA
DutiesPreparation and delivery of an all-day, online workshop for CSC148 students who have prior programming experience in a language other than Python.
Editing a recording of the video for posting online. Preparation of practice questions using the PCRS web application and / or Quercus.
- Must be available to deliver the workshop online from 10am-5pm, on Sunday, September 10 2023. Minimum Qualifications All qualifications for the CSC148H1F-A TA position, and also : prior TA experience in CSC148;
