Job Summary :
The Enrollment Communications team at USF is seeking a social media and digital communications intern to serve as a content creator for our social channels.
The social intern will work alongside E-Comms staff to develop a robust editorial calendar, film and edit current student Instagram takeovers, and lead the charge to capture and share the USF student experience.
The E-Comms team utilizes multiple mediums in order to show off everything USF has to offer. Print, social media, video shorts, blog posts, and live video give prospective undergraduate students the opportunity to see themselves at USF.
We are seeking a candidate with skills in creative writing and content creation, pride for the University of San Francisco and fresh ideas on how to best show off the USF student experience!

The social intern will work alongside E-Comms staff to develop a robust editorial calendar, film and edit current student Instagram takeovers, and lead the charge to capture and share the USF student experience.

Social Media Intern Responsibilities :
Collaborate with Enrollment Communications team to create and share short videos and attention-grabbing photography
Serve as the point person for current student Instagram takeovers
Create on-brand content representing the voice and personality of USF with consistent style, quality, and tone
Utilize media pass to attend and cover events and happenings on campus such as Donaroo and Destination USF
Use Adobe creative suite to design Instagram posts, email headers, and Facebook announcements
Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of social media tactics and campaigns, overall engagement, and community sentiment in an effort to maximize results across all channels.
Identify current or emerging trends, themes, and best practices in social media.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with digital graphic design, copywriting, blogging and / or photography
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Knowledge and understanding of community management, customer service, user experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong visual eye
Excellent organizational and project management skills and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
