The CU College of Nursing is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Assistant Director of Digital Marketing & Branding who will lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of our paid digital media channels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and proven results developing and leading digital marketing initiatives to drive student recruitment, continuing student enrollment, clinic / patient lead generation, and image and reputation, or transferrable experience with demand and lead generation with other audiences.
This position is well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and have a strong point of view of integrated omni-channel marketing and is tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce and scale our digital marketing strategy, as well as provide data-driven insights on campaigns and initiatives.
The Assistant Director will also be a strong writer and content producer with the ability to develop digital ads that have impact.
Understanding the role that content plays in digital marketing strategy is key, including creating content for SEO, social media, blogs, websites, email, video and more.
Examples of Work Performed :
- Recommend and lead digital strategy, execution, and optimization for marketing and advertising. Ensure strategies are clearly communicated and aligned with senior leadership and any third-party digital marketing vendors.
- Lead paid digital marketing efforts and performance marketing strategy through paid search, paid social, programmatic, display and other relevant channels (i.
e., email) that drive qualified traffic to our website. Own demand and lead generation campaigns for various prospective student audiences and prospective patients to increase traffic, volume, and quality of leads, and optimize yield / conversions.
- Work alongside Directors and executive level personnel, as well as provide support.
- Collaborate closely with leads for image and reputation marketing, student recruitment marketing, Undergraduate Admissions, Digital Strategy and Learning, program specialty directors, clinic directors, among others, to plan, execute, and measure campaigns as part of CU Nursing’s strategic efforts.
- Collaborate on the customer experience and email and SMS marketing strategy.
- Collaborate on email campaigns that exemplify the brand message and ensure email content / copy, email flows, and lists are optimized for performance and deployed on time.
Collaborate on reporting and analytics for campaigns as well as A / B testing.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing budget and ensure monthly targets are met or exceeded.
- Report regularly on agreed upon KPIs such as ROIs and CPA and develop reports to easily track and monitor digital targets and digital campaign success.
- Work with the creative, web, and marketing teams and outside vendors on the creation and trafficking of marketing assets for campaigns such as digital ads (graphics / copy), video, landing pages, website pages, and optimize content for improved SERP rankings.
- Develop, execute, and report the findings from A / B testing for consumer touch points such as ad campaigns, CTA, copy lines, creative, etc.
in collaboration with creative and marketing teams.
- Monitor, analyze, and forecast performance and KPIs to help achieve recruitment and revenue goals.
- Once leads are generated, provide input on how to enhance systems to respond and engage with and close prospects.

Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, advertising, data science, business analytics, journalism, public relations, communications, business administration, business, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Substitution : A combination of education and related technical / paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
At least four (4) years of extensive, diverse, and progressively responsible experience, including direct responsibility for digital marketing, demand / lead generation, and / or content marketing.

Preferred Qualifications :
- Master’s degree from accredited institution in marketing, digital marketing, advertising, data science, business analytics, or a related field.
- Five or more (5+) years of experience in digital marketing, demand / lead generation, and / or content marketing.
- Experience in social media management and hands-on execution.
- Experience in higher education or non-profit organization.
- Experience managing and mentoring digital marketing professionals.

- History of being able to use data to forecast and predict yield / sales and analyze large data sets.
- Ability to think strategically and tactically, with an integrated, omni-channel mindset and a deep understanding of the current digital media landscape and trends.

The starting salary for this position has been established as $76,503 to $97,312.

Social Worker
Job Summary :
Provide support and assistance to families who have diabetic children that may be facing a variety of challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provides psychosocial support / intervention and care to newly diagnosed and established children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
- Provides the mental health assessment component in interdisciplinary care of patients and makes appropriate referrals for treatment.
- Does phone consultations with patients, other medical professionals, and protective services / Court officials to advocate around medical care of diabetes.
- A combination of previous mental health clinical experience and understanding of ethnic and economic diversity and its impact on management of chronic medical conditions is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively is required as well as the ability to plan strategically, set priorities, and establish and achieve agreed clinic objectives.
This person must be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Provides ongoing education to the community, medical professionals and students.
- Contributes to new and ongoing diabetes clinical research protocols.
- Should have basic computer skills for charting / data entry of patient contacts.
- Maintains high standards of existing diabetes program
- Maintains credentials for licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW) and, eventually as a Certified Diabetes Educator, CDE.
- Experience using evidenced based interventional in the treatment of co-morbid mental health conditions.
