Responsibilities :

Verify and certify starting cash bank; and balance out at the end of shift. Operate cash register; accepts cash and credit cards;

Advise lead cashier on need for cash mid-days and complete change requests. Closing procedures, re-stock, retain, organize and recover nightly

  • Stock the venue, clean, organize and maintain a clean retail venue. Follow all shrink procedures to maintain cost
  • Greet guests; provide on-floor suggestive selling, take and fills guest orders for merchandise in positive, outgoing manner.

Merchandise replenishment-Maintain stock inform Lead / manager of needed supplies and merchandise

Promotes and provides extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answers questions and offers information in a courteous manner.

Seeks to provide assistance to guests

  • Understands and demonstrates the proper use of safety practices and ensures department standards are maintained and safety policies for the Park upheld
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Previous Sales experience preferred but no required

Hotel Ticketing Services Associate (Vacation Planner)

JOB SUMMARY : Destination Universal Vacation Planners are responsible for providing exemplary service by working independently in a high paced, guest facing, sales environment at Universal’s On-Site and Partner Hotels.

Responsible for utilizing prescribed sales techniques to sell all Universal Orlando products which include : Annual Passes, Admission Tickets, Express Pass, Dining Plans, Special Event products and Lanyards.

Vacation Planners must also be familiar with 3rd party area attractions and assist guests with sales for those products at their work location.

In addition, this position will require familiarity with multiple ticketing systems and guest service systems to assist guests with any ticket or Vacation Package concerns they have.

This position offers weekly commission opportunity to increase your earning potential*

Pay rate : $17.75 per hour

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Meet monthly sales goals including but not limited to : Total Ticket Revenue, Multi-Day and Park to Park share, Upgrade Revenue and Ancillary Product Sales.
  • Process transactions within multiple systems including : Galaxy Ticketing, Universal Desktop, Open Order, Open Table, Zomato and 3rd Party Ticketing System.
  • Understand and actively participate in technological communications for business critical information and relevant park and attraction information.

  • One to three years in a sales position with face-to-face customer contact preferred.
  • Six months to one year prior cash handling experience required.
  • Second language is a plus, but not required.

JOB SUMMARY : Oversees the Guest Services Social Media team, managing the day to day operation. A Supervisor will be responsible for leading the team to engage on behalf of the brand answering guest questions and addressing concerns on all social media platforms.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

Supervise Digital Guest Communications Coordinators’ correspondence with Guests through digital platforms including but not limited to : Facebook, Twitter, TripAdvisor, Google Reviews and Yelp.

Responsible for overseeing Universal Orlando Annual Passholder facebook page, ensuring conversations remains on brand and encourage engagement and group growth.

Ensure Coordinators effectively addressing and resolving Guest concerns as well as properly documenting Guest feedback that is provided to departments throughout Universal Orlando Resort.

Works with other management teams to resolve issues in real time and supports other departments with guest services issues.

  • Analyzes Guest questions, concerns and feedback trends discovered through digital interactions with Guests. Creates reports and presentations based off this information.
  • Responsible for the development of Digital Guest Communications Coordinators, including training, coaching and mentoring.

Institutes quality management processes to continually improve the coordinator correspondence with our guests. Additional responsibilities include : team member schedules, time and attendance reconciliation and weekly labor summaries.

Partners with Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, Legal, etc. regarding brand voice, talking points and brand reputation.

Communicates escalated messages received through platforms to appropriate teams.

Disseminates new information, procedures and programs. Ensures information is provided to team in a timely manner allowing Team Members to be subject knowledge experts for Universal Orlando Resort.

Provides communication of accurate information with regards to ADA compliance.

  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE : This individual is responsible for overseeing Guest correspondence through Social Media channels. This individual will manage Labor budgets and some non-labor budgets.

EDUCATION :

Bachelor’s degree is required Preferred degree in Communications, Marketing, English or Journalism

EXPERIENCE :

  • 1-3 years in Guest Services or hospitality experience;
  • previous writing experience required;
  • previous experience in Social Media preferred;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Social Media platforms including : Facebook, Twitter, Google, Tripadvisor and Yelp
  • Strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
