Product marketing specialist
We’re growing our marketing team and are looking for strong team players to join us. The Product Marketing Specialist will be charged with strengthening our product sales and customer acquisition strategy to deliver United Bank’s mission of excellence in service to our customers across eight states in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast as well as Washington, D.
The role of the Product Marketing Specialist is to manage and execute the bank’s product marketing strategy by providing customers and prospects with relevant information on the bank’s existing and new offerings.
This role will manage a multi-channel approach to reach customers and prospects by delivering targeted offerings through the audience’s preferred channels with accuracy, timeliness and brand consistency.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for outside vendors and internal management members related to advertising contracts, sponsorships, projects, etc.
- Deliver marketing activities within assigned budget
- Plan and attend internal and external events as the marketing representative
- Attend internal market or departmental meetings as the marketing representative
- Accountable for leading and executing the productivity and marketing plans and projects
- Oversee the distribution of marketing supplies and promotional items
- Keep record of all advertising for compliance purposes
- Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results
- Update promotional materials and website related to product and process updates
- Contribute creatively to the development of marketing materials
- Collaborate with marketing research and prepare reports related to results tracking, expenses and research
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required
- Minimum five (5) year marketing / public relations experience preferred
- Prior working experience in a Banking or Financial institution highly desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required
- Experience with Adobe suite (level of proficiency dependent upon respective area within Marketing)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
