About The Job

Twine Freelancers work quickly and efficiently to produce high-quality results. We are seeking a Graphic Designer for an IT services and IT consulting company.

Responsibilities

UIUX Design - collaborate with content team designing new features and products as well as formalizing those concepts in FIGMA and spearheading QA on those projects using company’s project management tools;

experience working with developers a plus

Creative Development / Art Direction - Provide concepts and develop final creative files using Adobe (Photoshop, XD, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.

for on-platform and social network publishing

Videography & Video Editing - Expertise behind the camera (DSLR) shooting indoor and outdoor events and subsequently editing those videos (90 sec-6 minute short-form sizzles and documentaries) required;

willingness to travel (domestic) a plus

  • Content Publishing & Curation - Supporting Sr. Content Director executing publishing original news articles & videos as well as curated content on platform using customized CMS tool
  • In-the-know POV - re latest & greatest social trends across channels

Requirements

  • College degree in Graphic Arts, UIUX, and / or related field - must have a portfolio of work created independently w / 2-3 internships (preferred)
  • Deep expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud (tools referenced above)
  • Strong creative / artistic POV - the ability to communicate a story visually
  • Keen understanding of American English grammar rules
  • Familiarity with the tenets of major style guides (i.e. AP Style), but the ability to adapt those skills for a proprietary guide
  • Experience editing for both content (the what of a story) and proofreading (how that story is put together)
  • Sense for the major elements of newsworthiness; relevancy, timeliness, human interest, etc., and ability to curate content based on those criteria
  • Understanding what makes a strong, eye-catching news / feature article headline
  • Knowledge of SEO-boosting measures for content that will benefit the Google algorithm, or a willingness to learn those tenets quickly and apply them
  • Experience with link text keywords and knowing where best to present internal links that help create a web of content
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation communication skills
  • Dynamic, great team player attitude
