A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BARTENDER
As a Bartender, you are an essential part of our bar operations. You bring the fun and festivity of Rio de Janeiro to our guests through your friendly, upbeat personality and your ability to create made-to-order, hand-crafted alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
You assist and guide guests in making food and beverage selections that enhance their dining experience. You also work with a point of sale system to ensure that orders are correctly entered, processed, and closed out.
Leveraging your communication skills, you communicate with front and back-of-the-house team members and maintain all aspects of the bar area including setting up, stocking products, maintaining storage areas, implementing inventory controls, and cleaning or maintaining all equipment, utensils, and tools.
You abide by all liquor laws and ensure a safe but enjoyable environment. You feel good about using your bartending and customer service skills to help create the best experience for our guests!
BARTENDER QUALIFICATIONS
- Over the age of 21
- 1+ year of related experience
- Experience handling money and operating point of sales processing systems
A high school diploma and additional training in bartending are preferred, but not required. Can you provide excellent customer service?
Are you able to work a flexible schedule? Do you have excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally? Can you manage your time effectively?

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SERVER
As a Server, you play an essential role in our business. With our unique service of serving freshly grilled meat and vegetables to customers right at their table, we have regular server and meat server positions.
Regular servers describe the Tucanos experience and menu items, assist in making food and beverage selections, take and ring in orders, deliver beverages, or offer deserts.
Meat servers bring and offer food as well as help prepare it, such as cutting it and so forth.
You play a leading role in providing genuine guest service. You introduce your guests to the festive and upbeat culture of Brazil and explain our unique dining experience.
Together with your fellow team members, you deliver an unparalleled experience that fulfills all the wishes and needs of our guests.
As needed, you also lend a hand with seating guests, clearing and setting tables, performing light kitchen prep work, and preparing to-go orders.
You maintain accountability for your entire station and for communicating with your front- and back-of-the-house team members.
You feel good about providing a dining experience that exceeds our guests' expectations!
SERVER QUALIFICATIONS
- Meat servers must be at least 18 years old
