REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

Education : Master’s degree in social work

Experience : 3+ years in behavioral health / collaborative care preferred.

Certification / Licensure Must be licensed / certified in the State of Michigan and adhere to the code of ethics for area of licensure.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Training in substance use disorder is highly desirable. CAADC or Development Plan strongly encouraged. Experience in working with patients who have complex medical conditions desired.

Clinical and analytical skills necessary to assess an individual's needs for behavioralhealth services, including evaluation of the individual's risk for dangerousness to self or others.

Knowledge of Substance use disorder ASAM criteria and psychiatric diagnostic nosology and criteria.
