Tribeca Pediatrics Medical Assistants provide direct patient care to children in a clinical setting. They communicate with the pediatricians to provide a high level of service and care.
Medical assistants are responsible for administering labs and screenings. They also maintain the medical inventory and supplies of the office and ensure a clean, functional and professional work environment.
Customer service and a love for children is a must.

Responsibilities
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient intake, measure vital signs and record patient's chief complaint in the electronic medical record system
- Maintain a friendly, supportive and professional demeanor with patients and colleagues
- Administer, prepare, and send out Laboratory specimens and vaccines
- Perform in-office lab tests (i.e. strep testing, HGB, Lead, etc.)
- Perform routine screening tests and surveys such vision screening and hearing tests
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain office logs, vaccine and supply inventories
- Adhere to practice policies around HIPAA compliance and staff and patient safety
- Complete charts and tasks accurately and in a timely manner
- Potential assignment as a trainer after 90 day review. Training bonus offered.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in the medical field preferred
- Pre Med & CMA New Grads Welcome
- Warm and friendly customer service skills
- Time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Open availability
SALARY
Starting rate -$18.00 / hr
