Job Description
WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / LABORER Monday through Friday 7am - 3pm Diversified daily responsibilities including, but not limited to, cleaning of facility and equipment for reuse, stocking equipment and supplies, assembly of packaging materials;
general duties to assist warehouse functions. Since 1981 TooJay’s New York-style Deli has been a fan favorite. With several locations across Florida, we are famous for piled-high sandwiches, hearty portions of homemade comfort foods and made-from-scratch soups, salads, and baked goods.

The Warehouse Associate will provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while performing all duties, and will perform these duties in such a manner as to create a clean, safe working environment according to Covid 19 regulations and standards for yourself and co-workers. WE OFFER :

Requirements
The following responsibilities can and will change depending on the day’s priorities. Your day may consist of one or all of the following : Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including wearing proper uniform and any face masks or gloves / if required and as regulated
- Comply at all times to TooJay’s standards and regulations for safety and adhere to Health department regulations
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of all cases and work areas
- Perform all end of shift functions
- Be familiar with location of fire extinguishers and how to access them
- Attend meetings as required by management
- Minimize waste and pilferage
- Perform any other duties as requested by management
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns or issues raised by co-workers and / or manager
- Must be able to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Must be willing to work with cleaning and or sanitizing equipment and solutions
- Must be willing to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects exerting up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand during entire shift
