Summary of the Position :

Tishman Speyer is seeking to hire a Cleaning Supervisor. The Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining staffing records and monitoring day-to-day operations of Cleaning maintenance staff while ensuring to cultivate positive and lasting customer (tenant) relationships.

The Cleaning Supervisor will work to create and maintain an attractive and welcoming environment while upholding Tishman Speyer’s cleanliness standards within our buildings.

Key Responsibilities :

Cultivate strong and positive relationships with tenants as result of timely responses to various issues and complaints.

Continuously strive to develop and implement programs that increase productivity and profitability.

Ensure proper safety training of the Cleaning team which includes OSHA compliance and monthly refreshers and track all training.

Train employees in all facets of janitorial work and ensure that industry standards are always upheld through the use of inspections and feedback from customers (tenants) and building management.

Track all active team members within the Cleaning portfolio and track any vacancies and openings accordingly. Interview candidates for Cleaning seasonal and regular fulltime positions.

Meet with Payroll Administrators and process weekly payroll accordingly.

Work directly with the Foreperson(s) to ensure requests and complaints are addressed within a timely manner.

Daily building Quality Control inspection reports.

Perform Quality Control Inspections periodically up to par with Tishman Speyer standards.

Manage all interactions with customers (tenants) and building staff to ensure that all janitorial needs are met.

Maintain the staffing section lists, attendance reports, and timekeeping.

Other tasks as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications :

Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and written.

Passion for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards while building strong customer (tenant) and employee relationships.

32BJ union experience a plus.

Management and business operations experience required.

10 - 15 years of experience in Cleaning / operations.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills and proactive problem solver.

Experience managing people.

Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and work with confidential information.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Experience with eTime and ADP a plus.

Physical Requirements :

Present a professional appearance and engage with our Hospitality program.

Ability to travel between floors and buildings in order to effectively communicate with the team and customers (tenants).

Must be able to stand for an extended period, at a minimum of 6 hours.

Must be able to move large boxes of supplies and equipment within our office and stockroom up to a maximum of 35 pounds without assistance.

Ability to work outdoors with varying temperatures ranging from 0 100+.

Onsite presence is required for this position.

The base compensation range for this role is $95,000 to $110,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.

This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and / or licensure required of an individual in this particular role.

The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyer’s New York team, as we’ve considered factors specific to this geography.

Tishman Speyer is seeking to hire a Seasonal Patrol Officer to join the Rockefeller Center team. The Seasonal Patrol Officer will enforce rules and policies to protect the property and safety of people on the premises while creating a welcoming environment for our customers (tenants), visitors, and the community.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain the health and safety of the building on par with Tishman Speyer standards.

Ensure the safety of all our customers (tenants), visitors, and the community.

Other duties as assigned by management

Skills & Qualifications :

Passion for upholding safety standards while creating a hospitable and welcoming atmosphere.

Required to operate elevators with frequent ascending and descending.

Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and written.

Give and receive directions from customers (tenants), visitors and emergency personnel.

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to stand for an extended period, at a minimum of 8 hours.

Needs to be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, place objects such as metal barriers and bollards less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Must be able to raise and lower banners and flags from flagpoles and open and close doors and gates on manually operated elevators and loading docks less than or equal to 15 pounds of pressure.

Needs to be able to withstand extreme heat and cold temperatures, varying from 0 -100+ degrees, for extended periods of time, as well as rain, sleet, and snow and work on indoor and outdoor posts on an Observation Deck as high as 85 floors.

Ability to travel between floors and buildings.

Wear Personal Protective Equipment that may be required when performing routine Patrol Officer duties and when working near or walking through areas of renovation / redevelopment to perform Patrol Officer tasks, such as but not limited to : hard hat, safety glasses, disposable gloves, hearing protection, face mask for infectious disease control, nuisance dust mask, closed shoes with non-slip soles.

The base compensation range for this role is $21.40 per hour.
