Job Description

Responsibilities Spring Valley Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of six acute care hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities.

Located in southwest Las Vegas, the undefinedbed hospital offers emergency care, advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries and procedures, surgical services, women’s health, comprehensive maternity services, a level III neonatal intensive care unit, and specialty programs in stroke, chest pain, acute inpatient rehabilitation, advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine with a limb salvage program.

Job Description : Responsible for the cleaning of offices, patient rooms and related areas. Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Other : Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care / service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit / department.

Compensation range $14.25 - $18.50 / Hour

Technical Skills : General bench tech skills required to provide coverage in all modalities License / Certification : Nevada State Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technologist.

ASCP or equivalent board registration / education required to satisfy Nevada License requirements must be maintained.

  • New CLS graduates must receive certification within 6 months of hire.
  • New graduates or applicants that do not currently have a NV license, must obtain a NV state provisional license prior to hire and must obtain a permanent license upon expiration of the provisional license.

Other : Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide high quality of patient care appropriately (specific age competent).

Must possess appropriate people skills, organization and attention to detail. Must desire to act as a resource and provide assistance as required.
