Position Overview :

The Customer Marketing Manager serves as the primary marketing resource for internal business unit customers of Scoular’s operating divisions.

Primary responsibility is to partner with business unit customers in the development, implementation, execution and measurement of marketing campaigns for key market segments, primarily, but not exclusively B2B customers (e.

g. ads, brochures, direct mail, letters, videos, presentations, promotional items, events). This role supports the marketing needs of all three operating divisions, North American Grains and Oilseeds, Specialty Food & Feed, and International Products.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Strategic marketing plan development lead business partners through the process of defining positioning, targeting and messaging for marketing efforts
  • Marketing execution partner with business leads to support in-market needs through the development of programs, collateral and advertising
  • Trade show support partner with business leads to elevate Scoular’s brand presence and activity at industry shows and events
  • Brand / Product development partner with business leads to develop new brand identities, guidelines and approaches for key Scoular initiatives
  • Manage agency relationship / projects work closely with outside agencies on key Scoular initiatives
  • Lead development and execution of brand advertising plan
  • Partner with Senior Digital Analyst to develop digital campaign via social, paid SEO, and beyond

Requirements

Minimum :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or related area
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships across all audiences - strategic vendors, subject matter experts, and thought leaders
  • Experience in developing marketing plans and programs
  • Ability to ask questions, understand needs and propose viable solutions
  • Self-directed and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and work under time constraints
  • Creative problem-solver
  • High agility and flexibility
  • Ability to collaborate with operations and functional partners, and work on cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple and time-sensitive projects

Position Overview :

The Domestic Tax Manager will oversee the domestic income tax strategy and tax risk management for US operations. The primary responsibilities of this role include federal and multi-state income tax planning, provision, compliance, audit, and tax credits and incentives management.

This person will report to the Director, Tax and Internal Controls. This role will have exposure to all levels of cross-functional leadership and requires a high-energy leader with experience in developing tax resources within a fast-growing global company.

Job Responsibilities :

Develop, implement and effectively communicate tax planning strategies and requirements to minimize the companies tax liability while optimizing tax efficiency.

Conduct research, interpret laws and regulations, and provide guidance to stakeholders on tax matters. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impacts to the company.

Manage the domestic income tax compliance process and tax-related audits, including federal, state and local jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

including establishing and maintaining tax internal controls. Drive tax credit and incentive opportunities in identifying, capturing and maximizing tax benefits across the US based operating landscape in collaboration with business partners and key stakeholders.

Manage tax provision processes to ensure all income tax related accounts are recorded in accordance with ASC 740, as well as tax-related disclosures required in GAAP financial statements and company filings.

Evaluate and analyze financial data to identify tax implications and opportunities for optimization in evaluating tax impacts and effective tax rates.

Partner and collaborate cross-functionally to stay apprised of business activities in providing tax technical support.

Provide oversight and leadership to tax team by providing guidance and training, ensuring efficient workflow of tax activities.

Requirements

Minimum :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated corporate tax experience.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Execution-oriented, self-starter focused on process improvement and driving results.
  • Strong communication skills and analytical skills with the ability to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • High ability to support the business, to anticipate issues, and to support informed decision making with fact-based analytics.
  • Capability to effectively build relationships with key partners and work cross-functionally across multiple levels of the organization.

Preferred :

  • CPA preferred
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • OneSource tax technology experience a plus
