PRIMARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide excellent customer service. Greets customers and takes food orders.Provide information about menus. Maintains solid knowledge of products and services available in the unit.
Looks for opportunities to up-sell products. Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures of product.
Operates cash register and receives payment from customers in cash or credit card.Accurately counts and provides change to customers as required.
Follows all Kroc Center customer service and cash handling policies and procedures. Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying the accuracy of transactions and operate equipment with electronic data processing.
Cleans and stocks work area and customer area. Transfer supplies and equipment as needed. Receives inventory, moves / lifts food and beverage product supplies between storage and work areas.
Ensure a safe and clean Work Environment. Clean and sanitizes workstation and equipment.Reporting any unsafe conditions or needed repairs.
Maintain and use equipment and supplies according to department standards.Follow and ensure adherence to The Salvation Army Policies and Procedures.
- Work cooperatively with the RJKCCC employees and guests, ensuring a high level of service.

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

The Call Center Representative is responsible to schedule donations of merchandise via telephone by performing the duties listed below.
Essential Functions :

Truck Driver
Responsibilities
- Drive routes as needed.
- Pick up donations at assigned destinations that are either on going or one time assignments.
- Priority given to ARC, Hope for the City, EFN, and Second Harvest.
- Pick up and deliver from Coborn’s twice a week, unless otherwise instructed.
- As time permits other pick-ups would be LUNDS Inc, Wal-Mart, Sam’s club, Suburban Santa, Seasonal Concepts, Nordstrom’s, Cub Foods, World Vision, Toys for Tots, Toy shops, Rainbow foods, and Various other Grocery Stores.
- Load donations in a safe, secure manner to minimize damage and breakage to donations and property
- Issue donor receipts for donated items
- Deliver donations to Corps Community Centers, and / or DHQ. Unload truck taking donations to designated areas and / or Corps.
- Deliver food, clothing, coats, and toys to a scheduled location. Taking care to assure safe handling and avoiding damage to merchandise and property
- Deliver and pickup merchandise and supplies to the Toyshops or Corps as assigned
- Pick up other procurement assignments as assigned
- Drive Forklift at designated toyshops
- Drive truck for other Salvation Army program needs as assigned
- Perform routine truck maintenance to ensure trucks run safely and efficiently. Report all maintenance and performance concerns to supervisor.
- Maintain the exterior and interior of truck in a clean orderly condition.
- Re-evaluate routing continuously to maintain optimal efficiency.
- Attend special needs staffing : as relates to transportation.
- Assist with employee and volunteer training on safety and problem solving by presenting issues during in-service meetings, training classes and individual reviews.

- Provide customer service and resolve scheduling problems and issues.
- Drivers must wear approved DHQ apparel while on duty.
- When not on a driving route or assignment, assist with loading and transporting supplies as needed to other Salvation Army Corps Community Centers, including disaster scenes throughout the division;
sorting food in the DHQ warehouse; preparing supplies for toyshop; and unloading of donations at DHQ that belong to EDS or Seasonal Services.

Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED, with a minimum of 2-years commercial driving experience. Must have a current or be able to pass the Department of Transportation physical, have a good driving record and meet The Salvation Army’s MVR driver qualifications.
Must be OSHA certified or eligible to drive a forklift, needs to go through The Salvation Army’s forklift training, able to deal courteously with donors and other employees, make decisions regarding potential donations based on given general guidelines and handle donations in proper and appropriate manner to avoid damage and breakage.
Must be able to work some Saturdays and early morning hours, pass the background checks and willing to support The Salvation Army mission.
Food Service Certification courses within 90 days of hire. It must be understood by the incumbent that the provisions of Safe From Harm will apply upon commencement of employment and also understood that the required Safe From Harm training be satisfactorily completed within the first thirty (30) days of employment.

In consultation with the Respite Care Program RN Staff, the Social Worker will screen referrals, admit and discharge clients who are homeless with acute medical conditions to the 28 bed Respite Care Program at The Salvation Army Emergency Lodge Homeless shelter;
provide case management services to eligible clients in which an individual's needs are identified and the medical, psychosocial and habilitative services designed to meet those needs are located, coordinated and monitored in collaboration with other professional staff.
About the role :
- Collaborate with other professionals to evaluate client’s medical or physical condition and assess needs.
- Conduct screening and intake assessments for referred clients to determine the needs of the individual and the ability of the program to meet those needs.
Includes visitations to area hospitals.
- Collaborate with medical professionals and utilize medical social work experience to plan and coordinate client care.
- Facilitate strong working relationships with area hospitals and other referring entities in the community.
- Identifies medical, psychosocial, economic and physical needs of clients; assesses and reassesses client's support systems, available community resources and other factors to plan, develop, and implement an appropriate service plan.
- Develops and implements a case plan that presents intervention strategies to meet client needs including assistance in recovery from physical illness and provide services or access to services such as benefit advocacy, financial assistance, legal aid, shelter, housing placement, employment services or education.
- Monitor, evaluate and record client progress according to measurable goals described in case plan.
- Refers clients to appropriate community resources; advocates on their behalf.
- Advocate for clients to resolve their medical crisis.
- Prepares complete and accurate case notes; writes correspondence, reports and other written materials; may prepare statistical reports and summaries;
inputs data into Service Point.
- Reviews all assigned cases on a scheduled basis to determine continuing need for services, and present in regular case reviews.
- Assists clients with logistics of transportation related to all medical care and appointments.

- Responsible for the security and safe operation of the vehicle and other assigned equipment. Promptly report, to immediate supervisor, all accidents involving truck, personal injury, or property damage and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Perform daily walk around inspection of vehicle, checking air, water, oil and other items to maintain equipment in good operating condition.
Report any problems immediately to the supervisor.
- Ensure truck cab and box are clean and personal items are removed daily.
- Complete daily routing based on pick-ups assigned and make all calls scheduled, including boxes.
- Responsible for developing of assigned route, including bagging or carding on both sides and across the street of each pick-up, as instructed.
- You are a personal representative of The Salvation Army.You are therefore to ensure that all customers are treated courteously, donations are accepted or refused appropriately, and the Manual for Production Assistants is strictly followed.
Any problem in pickups should be reported immediately to the dispatcher. Required to maintain a professional appearance in compliance with company dress code.
- Maintain complete and accurate records, i.e., delivery manifests, trip log, Green Sheet, etc. Strict adherence to communication procedure and 10 codes
- Responsible for loading and unloading of truck assigned and others as requested. Take proper care to secure and safely handle goods and materials during loading and unloading.
Blankets, ropes, etc., are to be used to : Avoid excessive movement of material during transit.Avoid breakage, scratching, or other damage.
Make optimum use of available space.
Provide assistance to Thrift Store personnel when delivering items to ensure proper placement and location within the store (i.
e. hampers to processing area, furniture placed properly on sales floor, removal of trash, etc.).
- Instruct and supervise Truck Helper. Keep in mind that the Truck Helper is in a rehabilitation program and that good habits are taught by example as well as instruction.
- This position will support the work therapy program component of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers by providing to beneficiaries;
an example of professional conduct, work habits, and supervision (as directed by Supervisor).
Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and / or Administrator for Business.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License for assigned vehicles and acceptable DMV record. Must pass driving test. *If at any time the Commercial Driver’s License is revoked and regular license is obtained, pay for regular license will be applied.
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
- Must be able to read maps and plan and prioritize daily route coverage.
- The position requires the ability to use a touch screen tablet mobile device to send and receive text based communications, take and send digital photos, and follow GPS route navigation instructions.
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Passing a DOT Physical is a requirement of the job, and failure to do so could result in immediate termination of employment.
This position requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Central Territory Headquarters LI
The Custodian maintains assigned buildings associated with the College for Officers Training through general cleaning and upkeep.
Essential Functions :
- General cleaning throughout the CFOT campus, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying of trash, washing windows and cleaning bathrooms
- Maintain and clean janitor closets
- Maintain and clean visitor rooms for Brengle and other events
- Detail cleaning of brass throughout the campus
- Clean and polish the elevator threshold and cab
- Report all maintenance related issues to the Property Director
- Clean carpets throughout campus in the summer and as requested by supervisor
Experience :
A minimum of 3 months experience in facility janitorial maintenance.
Skills :
Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.
Physical requirements :
Must be able to lift up to and including 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend, squat, climb stairs and ladders, reach above shoulder level, crouch, push, pull and have near / far vision acuity.
Working Conditions :
Exposure to dirt, dust, chemicals and solvents.
