Overview
The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external calls by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as being a team player within the department.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS HYBRID AND YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON SITE IN OZONE PARK, NY.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions of the Customer Service Representative include but are not limited to the following :
- Provide general customer service information. (Hours of operation, directions, etc.)
- Handle high call volumes of both inbound and outbound.
- Assist NYRA Bets and all other affiliate partners / customers with account inquiries.
- Troubleshoot password and basic technical application issues.
- Research any misapplied information or customer discrepancies.
- Provide special event, promotions and wagering details.
- Assist customer via telephone and live chat as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisors or other senior management
Qualifications
- High School Degree or Technical Certification
- Three (3) years of experience in a call or contact center or a customer service position with focus on providing outstanding customer service
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft and basic Internet navigation)
- Excellent phone manner
- Data entry
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal communication
- Experience handling confidential information
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Quick study who can adapt quickly and learn different products.
Hourly Pay Rate : $15 to $17 ph
