Founded by childhood best friends, Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow, The Meatball Shop opened its first location on The Lower East Side in 2010.
Over the last eleven years, we have expanded in the NYC market, including pop-ups in Washington D.C. and Connecticut, as well as a delivery only concept in Boise, Idaho!
Our ballers as we call our team, are the most important part of The Meatball Shop family, and we are passionate about serving our guests simple, sustainable, and delicious food.

We are a fast-paced, fun and upbeat restaurant group, currently looking to hire a Full Time or Part-Time Server with restaurant experience.

Position Requirements :
Resume with references
Minimum 2 years NYC restaurant experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Being able to identify and anticipate guest needs
Must love people and must love food
Flexible schedule : days, nights, weekends, and holidays (we are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas)
The server is ultimately responsible for each guest’s experience at The Meatball Shop. Servers greet their tables and explain the menu and the specials and guides the guest through their experience.
The guest is the responsibility of the server from the moment they sit at a table until they leave the shop. We all assume other roles in the shop, such as host or takeout, as needed.
