As a bartender on our team, you'll be crafting delicious cocktails while engaging with guests to provide positive and memorable experiences .

What We Are Looking For :

  • Contribute to Our Mission, Every Guest Leaves Happy, through teamwork, hospitality, proactive communication, and helping outside your role as needed.
  • Maintain clear communication with the servers, hosts, kitchen staff and management to ensure an efficient and positive working relationship.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and exceed guest service expectations.
  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to guests' needs.
  • Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Knowledge of the menu (food and beverage) with the ability to make suggestions.
  • Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems.
  • Concludes experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.
  • Keep designated service stations clean and organized.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory.
  • ID customers to confirm legal drinking age.
  • Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies.
  • Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 1+ years' bartending experience in a full-service restaurant (liquor, beer, & wine).
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer.
  • A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Must be of legal age to pour and serve alcohol.
  • Food Handler Certification.
  • Responsible Alcohol Service Certification.

We are privileged to partner with local coffee roasting company, Café Moto, who only produces Certified Organic, Kosher, & Fair-Trade coffees including our very own Portside and Brigantine coffee blends.

We also make all our own gelato and sorbet with only natural ingredients.

Key Responsibilities :
