Description : *This position will help operationalize communities of practice for Content Design, UX Research, Visual Design, and Product Design within the Digital Platforms organization.

You will be expected to collaborate across various organizations to establish a cadence for interaction that provides value for all design practices.

Senior Project Manager will report to the MMIS Technical Manager. Our client is comprised of 16 agencies with over 20,000 employees statewide.

POSITION OVERVIEW : *Seeking to hire an IT Project Manager to join our collaborative Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) team.

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects across various workstreams from operations to technical solutions, instituting standards and compliance, policy development, and audit support.

The PM will work closely with internal MMIS business and technical leads, external technical teams, and vendor consultants to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are documented and on track.

Key Responsibilities : The Technical Writer is responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, policies, and procedures.

This may include writing quick reference guides (QRGs), tutorials, training materials and other technical content. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical writing principles and practices, as well as experience with a variety of documentation tools and technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Write clear, concise, and accurate technical and training documentation
  • Create visual content using tools such as SnagIt and M365 suite of tools
  • Work with subject matter experts, business analysts, change managers, and other project team members to gather and understand technical information
  • Develop understanding of audience / user needs and develop optimal documentation formats
  • Translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand language
  • Use a variety of documentation tools and technologies to create and maintain documentation
  • With minimal supervision, work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and project goalsQualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Deep M365 knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Experience with a variety of documentation tools and technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
