Public Relations Specialist
As a Public Relations Specialist with Swatch Group, U.S., the position will be responsible for developing and implementing the brand’s PR and media strategy, building its reputation, image and ensuring effective media coverage.
As a PR Specialist, you will draft the media releases and content on various media channels, forge relationships with journalists and key influencers and manage the response to time- sensitive and critical situations.
The PR Specialist to be responsible for planning and organizing events, day-to-day media relations activities for the Brand.
Profile
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Grow brand awareness and market share through strategic product PR campaigns
- Works collaboratively with Marketing Manager to align PR strategy with business / marketing communications objectives and to support overall marketing plans.
- Manage yearly planning and implementation of product PR campaigns under guidance from the global marketing communications team and in close collaboration with local marketing management (MM).
- Develop public relations strategies for current and existing products, launches, and promotions
- Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure brands’ success
- Develop and produce high-quality, informative, and interesting press releases, press kits, and related materials
- Act as project lead for PR initiatives from concept development through execution.
- Plan and implement publicity strategies, campaigns, and social media calendars
- Create presentations, reports, and information for multiple communication channels
- Responsible for U.S. media relations, manage contacts, and facilitate networking for SG Corporate and brand executive.
- Ensures proactive contact with the different media through regular interaction.
- Analyzes the quantitative and qualitative outputs of PR programs and placements to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
- Manages PR budget and invoicing process
- Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual media activity reports
- Consistently brainstorm and collaborate with team for new ideas and strategies
- Develop and maintain good relationships with media and industry leaders
- Create and manage PR budgets, deadlines, objectives, and schedules
- Create presentations, articles, reports, and information for web sites, blogs, and social media accounts
- Act as host and brand representative at domestic and international events and trade shows
- Domestic and International travel required
- All other duties assigned by Management
Professional requirements
Education and Experience Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of related PR experience (consumer luxury products, media, agency, corporate environment)
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing or Business
- Must have knowledge and experience of traditional and new / social / digital media PR tactics.
- Strong written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience managing small and large scale events
- Strong media contacts and relations with a record of success in securing national and top-tier media placements is preferred
- Must be flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
- Ability to foster relationships and maintain connections
- Must be able to work early & late during event executions
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment and be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, projects
- Able to work weekends & holidays as needed; Travel up to 20%
Physical Requirements :
This is primarily an office position which requires the Public Relations Specialist to have the ability to move about the office occasionally, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
Travel domestic and internationally on a frequent basis. Ability to climb stairs and hang banners. Finger dexterity is necessary.

Visual Merchandiser & Trainer

Job description
As a Visual Merchandiser & Trainer with Swatch Group, U.S., the position will be responsible to support the watch sales within our retail and wholesale account through visual merchandising and training.
This role will oversee the visual representation of our brand and products in all boutiques (retail and wholesale) within assigned midwest region.
Visual Merchandiser & Trainer will also be responsible for maintaining training initiatives that will increase brand and product knowledge.
Tasks include the planning, organization, coordination, training and implementation of all Visual Merchandising measures that have been developed by the Brands.
This is a field based position.
Profile
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that store merchandise presentations meet Company standards and are in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Preparation of all communication materials as per visual displays in accordance to brand’s guidelines.
- Training of store managers on current visual standards.
- Contribute to achieving sales volume goals by ensuring effective presentations and maintenance of all product categories, making sure that all stores are set up correctly during promotions and regular business.
- Manage directly with vendor and place and follow up on all visual orders to ensure that all visual needs are implemented on time.
- Coordinate with visibility internal on centralized mailing of visual materials to trade and ensure the stores place them.
- Partner with management in planning and executing functional training, leadership development, product and sales training and other needed training strategies.
- Provide comprehensive communication and training programs to stores
- Look for any visual opportunities within or outside the stores and come up with great window decoration ideas.
- Identify possible business opportunities, keeping abreast of regional business trends by reading and understanding business reports
- Create and maintain photo library of boutique conditions prior to and after a visit
- Provide a recap report of the store visits
- Realize first-in-class set up and decoration of the Brands sponsored events, mono- and multi-brand related events, in order to maximize the Brand ’s visual impact according to brand guidelines.

Professional requirements
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- College degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of retail visual merchandising experience in specialty goods, jewelry, watches and related a plus.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Must be motivated and a self-starter.
- Ability to foster relationships and maintain connections
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment and be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, projects
- Able to work weekends as needed; Travel up to 80%.
