Shift : 6pm-6am (2nd shift) 9% differential included. Monday- Friday. Overtime after 40 hours .

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the CNC Operator is heavily involved in all workflow processes found throughout our workshops for all of the fishing & remedial tools and related equipment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up and operate more than one type of CNC Machine. HAAS VF7 MILL set up and operate with minimal supervision. MAZAK ST450 LATHE- program machine using Mazatrol software on the machine control.

MAZAK V655 MILL set up and operate with minimal supervision. WEILER E90 Oil Country Lathe- Program machine using the conversational software on the machine control.

Use manual functions to improve run times and reduce non-value time.

• Monitor controls and make necessary adjustments to achieve product specs and change cutting tools.
• Read dimensions and tooling instructions from work orders and blueprints.
• Verify conformance of machined parts to product specs.
• Load and unload material and align material to specs.
• Plan and perform machine operations which require complicated set ups, troubleshooting with a high degree of accuracy.
• Familiarity with machines controls such as Fanuc, Mazak, HEIDENHAIN and or Siemens. Proficient in one and adaptable to in-house control.
• Edit program as needed to achieve conformant machined components.
• Maintain traceability of machined components.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Follow company regulations for a safe and healthy workspace.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 7 years’ related experience preferred
• Knowledge of machines and products manufactured required
• Shop math a must
• Must be able to be on call and work with minimum notice
• Must be able to read blueprints, technical documents, drawings, and diagrams
