Job Summary and Qualifications
The Medical Technologist is responsible for the performance of automated, semi-automated, and / or manual procedures in the analysis of specimens and demonstrates knowledge of techniques and competence in the fields of bacteriology, parasitology, mycology, hematology, serology, chemistry, immunology, immunohematology, and flow cytometry as required for the position.
- You will accurately perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory tests specific to the area of the assignment.
- You will perform quality control and preventive maintenance and assess results for acceptability.
- You will ensure specimen integrity throughout the testing process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university and successful score on a national examination for certification approved by the State Board; OR
- Completion of three years of academic study, with a minimum of 90 semester hours at an accredited college or university in a curriculum involving biological or physical science and at least 12 months of training at a school of medical technology approved by a national accrediting agency and pass a national examination for certification; OR
- A bachelor's degree in one of the chemical. Physical or biological sciences at an accredited college or university, and at least one year of additional full-tie experience or training in the specialty or subspecialty in which he / she performs test(s) and pass a national examination for certification approved by the State Board; OR
- Pass an exam for Clinical Laboratory Technologist given by the Department of Health and Human Servies
- State of Nevada certification or eligibility.
- Experience in a large clinical laboratory and children's hospital setting preferred; will consider new graduate of an accredited program of Medical Technology.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The RN Case Manager is responsible for promoting patient-centered care by coordinating the plan of care for the patient stay, managing the length of stay, ensuring appropriate resource management and developing a safe appropriate discharge plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
The RN Case Manager facilitates the progression and transition of care using established criteria and in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
The RN Case Manager will coordinate activities that promote quality outcomes and patient throughput while supporting a balance of optimal care and appropriate resource utilization.
The RN Case Manager will facilitate care coordination through the IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) / Discharge Barrier rounds.
The RN Case Manager will act as a patient advocate, investigate all adverse occurrences, perform staff education related to utilization management, discharge planning, and psychosocial aspects of healthcare delivery.
In addition, the RN Case Manager must provide documentation of all functions as required by regulatory agencies. He / she will monitor utilization management, track any avoidable days identified, provide clinical reviews in a timely manner utilizing InterQual criteria, and follow review protocols for the department.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate program; Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field preferred.
- Two years recent experience (within past 5 years) in hospital case management with three years nursing experience preferred.
Will consider a minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience with two years critical care or nursing leadership experience in lieu of case management experience
- Must have knowledge of CMS Rules and Regulations (including Patient Status and Level of Care).
- Board Certification in Case Management (CCM) or Accreditation in Case Management (ACM) preferred.
- BLS required.
- Current license to practice as an RN in Nevada. Independently maintains license. Acquires required continuing education units to practice and maintain license.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Medical Social Worker evaluates psychosocial needs and provides community service coordination for identified patient populations, providing support and crisis intervention where indicated and acts as a liaison between the patient and community resources / post-acute care providers.

You will be completing psychosocial assessments on patients. The assessment shall include, but is not limited to assessment of the patient’s lifestyle, coping, support systems and needs.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of psychosocial issues related to hospitalization for patients of any and all age populations.
You will be creating and facilitating timely implementation of discharge plans and arranges post-acute interventions identified in the plan of care.
You will also facilitate patient movement across the continuum of care and identifies, addresses, and tracks barriers to patient throughput.
- You will be providing emotional support, psychosocial assessment, supportive counseling, crisis intervention, group therapy and the provision of information and referrals to appropriate community resources.
- You will be participating in formulating policies and procedures to facilitate maximum integration of clinical social work services with other disciplines.
Demonstrate knowledge of social service policies and procedures. Provide staff with in-service education as needed.
You will be developing relationships with community agencies and serve as liaison to coordinate continuity of care for patients.
Plan and coordinate with staff of community facilities, social service agencies, health department and other community agencies and resources to meet patient’s post hospitalization needs as appropriate.
What qualifications you will need :
- Graduate of a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
- MSW (Master’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent) or BSW with commensurate experience required
- Current State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Work license
- Minimum of two (2) years full-time social work experience preferred.
- Medical social work experience preferred.
- Certification in social work or case management preferred.
- Knowledgeable about internal, community and post-acute care resources.
- BLS certification required within thirty (30) days of hire.
