Job Description
Role Summary : The Marketing Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Marketing team operationally in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
This role involves a range of tasks, including coordinating and scheduling marketing activities, assisting with event planning and execution, and administering Summit’s supplier co-op programs.
The Marketing Operations Assistant must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the Marketing Operations Assistant will interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with the planning and execution of events including tradeshows and conferences
- Administer supplier co-op programs
- Support ongoing promotions, including printing and shipping of promotional materials to each Summit location
- Order promotional prizes and other office supplies as needed
- Manage uniform and promotional portal, and support the business with special order promotional product requests
- Administer supplier portals
- Assist with customer data requests
- Use Excel to filter large amounts of data and find key insights
- Operate marketing production equipment including business hub, large format printer, decal cutter, laminator, and other equipment
- Fulfill orders for business forms, Summit Bucks, decals, etc. and pick, pack, and ship to various Summit locations
- Create signage, welcome kits, and other materials as needed
- Be a utility player, filling in wherever there is a need to get the job done
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- High school education or GED required
- Must be detail oriented because even the smallest details matter in this job
- Excellent time management and an ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with Microsoft suite, specifically Excel
- Flexible, with the ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, constantly changing work environment
- Strong customer service orientation, both internal and external
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Must be willing to learn additional roles on an as-needed basis
Beneficial Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience in a support role
- Experience working with a project management tool is helpful (Clickup, Trello, Monday.com, Asana)
- Experience in electrical distribution, either in a warehouse, sales, or operations role
- Fluent in Spanish

Distribution Associate (Warehouse)
Job Description

As a Distribution Associate, you will :

Your Day Will Include :
- Pulling customer orders, ensuring their accuracy, and preparing them for shipment
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Receive and stock products as needed to replenish inventory
- Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary
- Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times
- Provide back up for delivery drivers as needed

Qualifications
As an ideal candidate you will have :
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment or providing exceptional customer service is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to cross train and provide backup for drivers as necessary.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Experience in local delivery driving is preferred.
Physical Challenges :
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment.
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles.
Pre-employment assessments, drug, and background screens are administered. Professional appearance required.

Marketing manager
Job Description
Role Summary :
Summit’s Field Marketing Manager will manage client services for the department and be the main conduit to the business. This person will be responsible for managing internal requests, including from other departments and the field sales organization.
This person will triage requests, meet with internal clients, and coordinate work within the department.
Working with field leadership, this person will develop and execute local marketing strategies and campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
This role will work closely with the sales team to identify target markets, create, and deliver marketing materials, and measure the effectiveness of marketing’s efforts in attracting new customers and retaining existing ones.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the primary point of contact for incoming projects, and coordinate within Marketing to complete the work
- Manage project deliverables and timelines, owning communication with internal clients
- Work closely local teams to understand their sales goals and objectives and develop customized marketing strategies to help them achieve those goals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with field and corporate leaders, and identify opportunities where Marketing can help increase brand awareness and sales
- Assist other departments, such as training and recruiting, with their communication requirements including internal announcements, scripts, videos, brochures, web content and more
- Provide copywriting support and direction for company and departmental initiatives
- Coordinate the creation of marketing collateral and sales tools including brochures, one sheets, case studies, and whitepapers
- Be the voice of the field for the marketing team
- Manage strategic use of field marketing co-op funds
- Write press releases and other external communications as needed
- Act as Summit’s resident expert on grammar and style
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, both generally and within the industry
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing related role
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous experience managing project timelines and deliverables
- Ability to write clear and compelling marketing copy
- Strong proofreading skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management skills
- Team player who enjoys collaboration
- A good understanding of current marketing trends
Beneficial Skills :

- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Familiarity using Drupal
