Work Schedule :

Monday Friday - 10 : 00 am 6 : 00 pm

Some optional overtime

Weekend Work Schedule :

Will be on-call 6 months down the road after onboarding and training, and as a back-up within 1st year of employment

On-call rotation (volunteer basis) happens once every six weeks

On-call point of contact will carry the phone after a couple of years

What you will do

  • Inspect products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
  • Prepare product for scheduled surgeries
  • Maintain warehouse organization to avoid product errors
  • Processing incoming orders for materials, merchandise, or services
  • Check inventory records to determine availability of requested products.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Responsible for KIT inspections
  • Implement and support Quality initiatives
  • Maintain account records, signing, reporting, and filing / scanning documents
  • Confer with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace deliveries
  • Work with internal resources for alternative product obtainment (, other warehouses, consignments)
  • Keep records on the use and / or damage of stock or stock handling equipment, inventory for expiration dates, etc.
  • Review overdue shipment returns and partner with dispatcher to schedule the return.
  • Informing customers of receipt, shipping, and delays
  • Use computers to maintain accurate account records and shipment of inventory
  • Support management in preparation for branch audits
  • Interact with the team during service level investigations
  • Assist in FQMS compliance
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities, evenings and weekends
  • Cross-train in other areas of the business
  • Work with FedEx for shipping and receiving
  • While representing Stryker you will be responsible for the distribution and delivery of products / services for our representatives and customers.
  • Prepare, ship, receive and deliver products; ensure timely delivery of sets and pick up / return loaner sets; field customer questions and direct to appropriate branch personnel.
  • Perform safety inspections in transportation setting and prepare DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)
  • Read maps, and route configuration.
  • Perform and / or schedule preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle, (fuel, fluid levels, tires, etc.

and keeps accurate maintenance records.

Advise supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle.

What you need

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree - preferred
  • 2+ years of experience required
  • Valid Driver’s license with good driving record required
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekend and evening call as needed - preferred and possibly required over time

As a Marketing Associate on Stryker's Acute Care team, you will work alongside the Brand Manager and Sales team to help execute on product growth initiatives.

This role is located in Kalamazoo, MI with 50% travel.
