Job Duties

POSITION SUMMARY

Oversees and administers the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defines rules for transportation regarding applicable carriers, services, and payers.
  • Implements, monitors and enforces the application of policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and approves freight bills, checking rates, services, and applicability.
  • Monitors transportation service levels and issues claims when applicable (delays, damages or losses).
  • Establishes agreements with transportation companies.
  • Arranges special transportation when needed (big volumes, remote locations, out of normal requests).
  • Establishes monitors and enforces procedures regarding import / export customs clearance and export control.
  • Defines the requirements for systems integration with carriers’ shipping systems when needed.
  • Develops new transportation solutions when needed (international and domestic).
  • Monitors and audits off site storage activities and charges.
  • Sets-up new warehousing and storage layout in designated locations off site when needed.
  • Develops special packaging for dangerous goods, odd shaped or delicate parts.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education :

  • Essential : High School / GED
  • Desirable : Business Administration or Technical Associate degree

Job Qualifications

Experience :

  • Entry Level Administrative Professional Contributor on a Project or Work Team.
  • Generally 0-2 years of experience or more in area of responsibility and experience in Logistics with a strong understanding of inventory controls, warehousing, distribution, and means of efficiently transporting goods to appropriate destinations.
  • Ensures that goods are shipped in the most timely and efficient manner.
  • Experience in establishing, monitoring, and following up transportation services and contracts with carriers.
  • Dealing with customs.

Job Duties

Currently seeking Operations Trainee in Tulsa, OK

This is an entry-level position in which the individual will be trained in the manufacturing processes of the aircraft. In a team environment, under direct supervision, perform a variety of structural assembly operations in a production department.

Essential Functions :

  • Under specific instruction and guidance, perform fitting of detail parts and basic drilling and riveting operations using basic mechanic hand tools (pneumatic drills, rivet gun, counter sinks, reamers and files, etc.)
  • Ensure parts and work content meets the instructions of assigned manufacturing employee and / or Quality Control Inspector.
  • Learn to read work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets to determine sequence of operation and work requirement.
  • Align and assemblies parts to be riveted using holding fixtures, pins, clamps and fasteners.
  • Observe and assist to become familiar with parts and assemblies, then works with decreasing supervision as experience is gained.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Tools will not be required as client utilizes consolidated / shared tool boxes.

NO PRIOR AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, JUST NEED MECHANICAL APTITUDE - (ie S-M New Grads Would Be Perfect.)

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Quality control inspector

Job Duties

Currently seeking Quality Control Inspectors with a minimum of 1 year Quality Control Experience in Tulsa, OK

In a team oriented environment, perform all tasks in Initial Phase Manufacturing, Composites, or Final Phase in a timely and efficient manner to ensure aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and installations are built to type design data.

Essential Functions :

  • Perform inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and orders, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and instructions, and other related documents.
  • Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems, verify functional operation, final inspections, inspect for FOD and verify paperwork.
  • Witness, verify and document specified manufacturing process steps.
  • Perform conformity / first article inspections to ensure compliance with FAA approved procedures.
  • Perform transfer and consolidated inspections.
  • Ensure the proper use and storage of area tools and equipment.
  • Conduct work in a manner that enhances own / other employees health and safety, product safety and promotes risk reduction;
  • participate openly in safety-related event investigations, and immediately report workplace hazards and make suggestions for control;

Additional Functions : 1. Provide on the job training for subordinate level inspectors. 2. Coordinate inspection workload according to priorities, efficiency and cost effectiveness.

3. Provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering and IPT personnel. 4. Perform duties of MRB signature authority.

5. Perform area inspections to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications. 6. Lead continuous improvement activities.

Job Qualifications

Tools will not be required as client utilizes consolidated / shared tool boxes.

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • High School Degree or GED.
  • Completion of formal inspection training program within 90 days of assignment.
  • One (1) year quality inspection experience & Two (2) years manufacturing experience or equivalent aerospace experience

Other Requirements :

  • Working knowledge of shop mathematics, and CATIA or blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Competent in the use of basic shop tools and equipment.

Job Duties

Currently seeking Structure Assembly Mechanics in Tulsa, OK

In a team oriented work environment, under little to no supervision, perform a variety of structural assembly operations using required tools and appropriate prints, specs and operational requirements to complete work assignment, and ensure conformance to specification.

May assist and instruct other team members.

Essential Functions :

  • Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations; ensures parts / assembly meet requirements.
  • Possess the proven ability to move to new tasks with only a moderate, short-term impact to established goal hours and schedule.
  • Rivet structural members, assemblies and parts using all tools required to do the job (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets).
  • Must display the ability to remove fasteners without damaging structures.
  • Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type size and hole pattern for rivets.
  • Check all work and ensure a defective free assembly prior to final inspection.
  • Instruct and assist other team members in interpretation of blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders; develop methods and shop aids to resolve production installation difficulties and problems.
  • Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
  • Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners.
  • Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S & Lean Initiative Program and complies with all safety regulations.
  • Work with little or no supervision.
  • May assist / instruct other team members.
  • Support Lean Activities.

Job Qualifications

Unique Skills : (This will be for the Tulsa, OK facility)

Must be able to use rivet guns, impact guns, hammers, and basic hand tools such as calipers and scales and other measuring devices, etc.

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Q-Stamp preferred.
  • Three (3) years related structural assembly experience.
  • Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

Other Requirements :

  • Must be able to read and interpret blue prints.
  • Must be skilled in close tolerance work and have knowledge of use of special tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to use mathematical formulas by solving dimensional problems using fractions, decimal fractions and whole numbers.
  • Ability to work with composite resins and materials.
