MISSION OF ROLE :

Summary : Join as a Manager in the Structured Finance team, dedicated to financing and commercializing 25GW of solar projects by 2025.

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical candidate to capitalize on substantial deal flow and work closely with various teams to ensure successful financings for utility-scale solar projects.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Support negotiations with financing counterparties for solar assets, including tax equity, construction debt, and term debt
  • Manage all aspects of transaction execution, including project marketing, financing terms, due diligence, modeling, and closing
  • Provide guidance to Business Development and Project Development teams regarding financial modeling and investor appetite
  • Support Business Development team in pricing and winning solar projects
  • Prepare investment committee presentations at key project milestones
  • Assist in valuation and financing efforts for project acquisitions with offtake contracts
  • Maintain and refine the company's financial model suite
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and deal flow

Knowledge & Skillset :

  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal management and financing counterparties
  • Detailed knowledge of tax equity and debt structures in renewable energy or conceptual understanding of power markets preferred
  • Knowledge of VBA is a plus

Qualifications & Experience :

  • 4-6 years of finance experience in a transactional role (investment banking, renewable energy development, or financial analysis)
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; MBA or CFA preferred
  • Track record of supporting project finance transactions from start to finish
  • Strong preference for candidates willing to relocate or work in our San Francisco or Denver offices
