Director, Digital Marketing

What you'll do

The role is set up such that the Digital Lead is ultimate responsible setting goals for our artists / projects, building out timelines, content and activations meant to achieve those goals, secure artist and partner buy-in and execute across all ideas and activations.

At the same time, the role is expected to be responsible for social and platform optimization and delivery logistics.

We spend a ton of time collaborating in brainstorms to delivering custom and creative digital marketing ideas for each artist, presenting them to the artists’ teams and executing the campaigns.

Our ideas to come from our knowledge of music culture, key brands, influencers and out-of-the-box thinking.

In addition to the high-level creative ideas, we’re also responsible for multiple social accounts with millions of followers and for their activity and growth.

A key strategy to encourage audience engagement and growth has been to deliver next level creative both commissioned and designed in-house.

The content ranges from custom videos to Snapchat lenses to memes and more.

Who you are :

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience running point on digital campaign for rap artists & projects (label experience preferred).
  • A deep and thorough knowledge of the modern rap genre / scene with a firm understanding of the history that lead to today’s market.
  • Expertise in running influencer and seeding campaigns.
  • Experience in working with staff from social platforms and music streaming sites preferred.

What you'll do

  • Creation and execution of Santa Anna’s labels messaging calendars on socials, websites and email newsletters.
  • Research, gather or engender creation of, plan and post compelling content that supports the voice, tone and style of our artists and other projects.
  • Prepare and supply social media posting calendars for content releases to artists and / or their representatives, as well as theatrical, film and TV partners.
  • Monitor the latest trends and platforms in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how to leverage new tools and services and how they would benefit Masterworks artists.
  • Liaise and coordinate with US colleagues and international counterparts on shared content and posting strategies.
  • Digital assets maintenance (link maintenance, video descriptions, tags, etc) including Linkfire prep / rescan and check.
  • Set up and verification of new VEVO channels, YouTube playlist creation and maintenance.
  • Social media allow listing requests for artists and project partners.
  • Manage post boosting / testing / optimization, creative development, and analysis for social campaigns, sharing findings in an ongoing manner with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute plans to highlight and stimulate user-generated content including influencer outreach.
  • Design and execute contesting for exposure and audience growth and capture, using digital tools and partnerships.
  • Attend and contribute to all relevant internal company meetings and provide colleagues with timely feedback and follow-up.
  • Prepare and distribute regular status reports.

Who you are :

  • 2 to 3 years digital content management experience including social media messaging and email marketing. Previous label experience preferred.
  • Superb written and oral communication skills.
  • Personable and actively emerged in music and pop culture and its consumption across multiple channels.
  • Thorough understanding of current digital music distribution partners and industry best practices.
  • Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities, as well as in the work environment, and have the ability to be flexible in adapting to re-prioritized tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of organizational ability.
  • Energetic, efficient and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Must be able to think and act quickly; thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment; and set and meet deadlines.
  • This role requires a high degree of creativity, energy, innovation and flexibility.
  • Must have the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is essential.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, inDesign, etc.) helpful, but not required.

Digital Marketing Representative

What you'll do

  • Work across digital, content and marketing teams to execute campaigns for our artists and label.
  • Assist in the creation of content strategies and social media calendars.

Production Coordinator

What you'll do

  • Tracking and submitting invoices, re-allocation, etc., with oversight from the PM.
  • Onboarding for independent contractors and vendors.
  • Various production coordinator tasks, including purchasing and logging audio equipment, booking logistics for recording of the shows such as travel, accommodation, studio hire, and coordinating releases / clearances.
  • Coordinating final delivery of each of our shows, including tracking and assembling assets in accordance with client specs, as well as uploading audio and video assets to the relative publishing platforms.

Who you are :

  • A motivated self-starter who is passionate about this kind of role and wants to grow and progress through the Production Management career route.
  • A resilient, calm and professional manner a proven track record of being organised and responsive in the face of change.
  • An excellent, clear and persuasive communicator able to adjust tone and approach for different audiences from direct reports up to the most senior management and commercial partners.
  • A keen eye for detail and able to juggle many conflicting priorities from different sources the ability to switch hats’ quickly.
  • An understanding of all stages in the production process, including remote recording and visualisation, and associated costs and technology.
  • Excellent administrative skills and experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel to a very good standard.
  • Experience of setting up complex recordings, events or shoots across genres.
  • Experience of completing a full range of production paperwork.
  • Experience of working on narrative and entertainment programmes (or at least one of these genres).
  • A passion and interest in podcasts.
  • Knowledge of health and safety processes and procedures, including risk assessments and COVID-related matters, but also expenses and similar.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an understanding of employment procedures working with legal and HR teams to onboard Temp Employees and Independent Contractors.
